Perhaps he had not been near the wall long enough, but Denbe took that quite a bit more seriously. Something had happened.
Hand hovering near his daisho, Denbe hustled along after the two toward wherever the mess had been; and despite the sounds that the issue had been dealt with and was well over, he kept his eyes peeled as they made their way to the room.
And nearly jumped out of his skin when Miyako's knife made it'self known.
Moving to see what was going on, the Hare quickly went from wound so tight he seemed ready to bounce off the walls and into combat... and deflated as he thought he recognized the voice. Maybe? Or not?
"We're friends! Kitsuki-san is a healer," he said, trying to put it out there and deflate the situation before any more tension led to bad decissions. Whoever it was, they weren't a shadowlands creature anyway.

Already on edge, when the little Dragon peeked around the doorway to find a dagger pointed at her, her heart nearly stopped and she let out a panicked squeak. It was all instinct now as her body reacted in the only way it knew how: with fists. Or in this case, fingers, pointed to strike the essence of her attacker's chi.

As she was struck, Miyako was thrown even further into confusion as Denbe's words penetrated her brain. However, she was still being attacked but she did keep Denbe's words in mind as she struck down towards the Kitsuki's torse and not her neck. "Then why she'd attack me!!!!"

((After the attack is resolved))
"ENNOUGHH!" a withered cloaked Kuni man would say aloud after the tanto-drawing and failed martial art attempt.
"Kitssuuki-ssann, you'rre hherre to ennssurre innjurriess arre trreated." The Kuni would move between Masuyo and Miyako, brushing both finger and blade aside. He would turn his head and look upon the bog hag, now decapitated.
"Thhe two off yyou wwilll sstannd downn," the Kuni would say, as several armed and armored Hida would begin to fill into the hallway around Daisetsu's fallen corpse.
"Iff eeitherr mmakess anny ssuddenn mmovemmenntss, do nnot hhessitate to killl thhemm," he would say.
GAUNTLET HAS BEEN DROPPED. What do you all do?

Miyako had no idea who the guy was, but he was obviously some kind of authority. So her blade did go down though it was tense gripped for a second before it was sheathed. Her eyes looked at her opponent and the fiesty little beauty flashed a defiant grin at the dragon, her green eyes sparkling.

Kojiro was shocked as most of this happened as he was about to issue a challenge to Ujina-san to verify his identity. From the sound of the authority in the voice, it looks like that stunt might bring trouble. Yes. This day had started with so much promise...

The Kuni would withdraw a scroll from his satchel, turning to face the chamber with the two scorpions. Whispering his prayer to the Kami, he would begin casting (assuming he would not be interrupted).
As he would finish his spell, he would call out, "Jjade Sstrrike!" The scroll itself, as well as his hands, would glow a bright green color, before a bright light would illuminate the chamber and hall alike, and a piercing bolt of green energy would shoot through Kojiro and Miyako alike!
.....
And do nothing at all.
Though, the proximity to the spell would cause both the corpses of Daisetsu and the Bog Hag to sizzle, releasing a vile odor into the room.
"Thhe Sscorrpionnss arre clleann. Arre thherre anny othherrss inn thhe arrea thhat nneed to be chhecked?" he would ask the two of them.

With that announcement, Kojiro tried to guide Miyako out of the room, if they were allowed. "I ....Kaiu Kagae-san attempted to help us. He was stuck under Hida-san's body for a short while. He went off that way!"
Kojiro pointed in the direction that Kagae had gone.

The Kuni would nod his head. "Yyou twoo mmayy prrocceed killlinng eachh othherr," Tomiji would say, gesturing towards the Hida that had accompanied him. The heavily armored troupe would march down the hallway, leaving the four of you, and two corpses, alone.

Kojiro hoped that the situation between the two women could be delayed....he knew how vengeful Scorpion ladies tended to be. Kami, wasn't that a lesson Lady Kachiko had taught the Crane and the Lion first hand?

@ Mess Hall:
As soon as Kagae addresses the Kuni, he finds a horde of armored, large Hida suddenly charging his position. He is promptly tackled to the ground, the table and his meal spilling across the floor.
One bright green flash from Jade Strike later, with no visible results, would only then allow Kagae freedom of movement, as they all shuffle out of the mess hall without any further word.
