Wyrm only ofund darkness, brewing and growing stronger. Blinking several times, he shook his head and sighed, "I see no ending to it. I am sorry." Looking up at Larkanna, she shook her head.
"There's got to be a way to rid him of it." Her eyes took on a determined glint, "If that woman's dead, then I think it's time that we visit her grave... and I speak with the dead." She couldn't just sit there and watch the curse get worse day by day. It would kill her a little on the inside if she did.

Elkand looked at her " Is that even possible?" he asked and sighed " I suppose its wroth a shot but Lujei was rumored to be insane so there's no telling if she will help or not." he looked at her " Most likely we'll have to let the curse grow and grow and hopefully we can sever the link enough to where it will not effect you..and if anything else we will be separated completely but I suppose its worth a shot to end it." he looked up at the ceiling.

Larkanna shrugged, "It's possible. Witches are quite famous for speaking with the dead, though I've never really done it before." Walking behind him, she looked down and into his eyes, "If it gets you, then it might as well take me." The symbol on the back of her hand began to sting, but she felt some of her magic be restored. Leaning down, she murmured a short chant that sounded similar to a lullaby, but was a sleeping spell, she kissed him on the forehead, "Until then, just rest."

Elkand raised a brow " I guess, just be careful...maybe I should go with you." he said and looked up at her " I'm not sure if it'll work that way hopefully." he said and then suddenly he felt tired and put his head on the table and yawned closing his eyes and feel to sleep as a result of her sleeping spell. He would normally be able to resist but somehow the spell effected him much more.

Larkanna went back to her own house to change into more appropirate clothes for running around through cemetaries or the countryside in search of the grave. This time she wore a blood red cloak with a large hood to cover her entire face. She also picked some herbs from her garden that would help attract the spirit of the dead witch.
About two hours later, she went back to Elkand's house and sat across from him, putting different herbs and thigns together to make a protective charm that would keep dark spirits from trying to possess them.

Elkand soon started to wake up and opened his eyes his vision blurred as he sat up and rubbed his eyes until Larkanna's shape became clearer. He looked at her " Oh back all ready?" he asked " How was your trip?" he asked her smiling speaking kind of low. He smiled " What are you making Larkanna?" he asked going over to her and leaning over her shoulder. Elkand would probably start acting like a little happier soon as that was the result of the sleeping spell until he woke up fully. He wondered what all the herbs were for because it seemed a little strange.

Larkanna smiled when he woke up, "How was your nap?" But he was already asking her about the protection charm. Holding it up so that he could see it, she said, "Many of these herbs have been blessed, so that dark spirits will be discouraged to show up. It's simply a safety precaution due to the fact that I've rarely done this." She explained, "Dark spirits are sometimes more common than spirits that don't intend to hurt anyone, and if this woman is just as cruel as she seems to be, then I don't want to take any chances with her possessing one of us."

Elkand smiled " It was awesome!" he said and listened to her explain his eyes filled with wonder. He smiled " Cool...I had no clue they could be used like that." he said " I wanna come and see the old one." he said " Witch is mean and scary but if you be nice to her she'll be nice to you!" he said " So lets go!" he said hoping up.

Larkanna was surprised how happy he seemed to be. She found this both a little scary and yet adorable at the same time. Finishing the last part of the charm, she stood up, being careful not to step on his feet since he was so close, "Midnight is always the best time to summon spirits, since the veil between the physical and spiritual plains are the weakest during that time. Looking out the window, she saw that the sun was beginning to set, "Which means we have a couple of hours to kill before we summon her."

Elkand smiled "Yay!" he said and stood up straight " What do we do now Larkanna?" he asked her and tilted his head to the side. He would probably be fully awake by then but it was wasn't guaranteed. He began to walk around and hum until she suggested something being unable to think of anything. He then started to whistle and sat down staring and smiling right at her as he waited. He leaned back but his eyes didn't flinch and his smile didn't either both of them aimed towards her.

Larkanna watched him cautionously. She'd never seen him this happy nor did she find it comfortable. Brushing off the rogue herb leaves from her breeches, she said, "That's a good question..." Walking over to the cooking area, she murmured a spell that got the fire going. "How about something to eat?" She tried to ignore his smile, but laughed a little, "What would you like?"

Elkand looked at her " I'm actually not hungry..." he said and sighed " I feel a bit tired." he said " Isn't there anything else we can do to pass the time?" he asked her and stood up before wandering off looking around the house " I'm sure I put the room somewhere." he said putting his hand on walls where he hid doors to different rooms.

Larkanna simply left the kitchen to follow him silently, curious as to what room he was looking for. She also had plenty of rooms that were hidden, but usually a quick chant or a dark glare made them appear. She'd heard of magical folk that enchanted their houses so that the rooms would never be in the same place as they had been the day before. A house like that would drive her to the insanity that desired to swallow her whole. "What room...?"

Elkand looked around " Its a room full of things I would play with years ago." he said. He put his hand on a wall and smiled running his finger down as the door appeared. He nodded " Here it is!" he opened the door and looked inside but instead he found a large open field on a bright sunny day. He looked at her " I guess this will do, wanna head inside here instead/" he asked. He stepped inside he had forgotten he actually had rooms like this but they moved around everyday so no one would just stumble into one but soon he forgot all about them.

Larkanna was still unsure about his new attitude, but simply continued to shrug it off. Stepping into the field after him, she looked around, awe obvious in her eyes. "You made this?" She asked. She'd never heard of anyone using their magic like this and she had never had any interest in doing something like this. "Is this an illusion or an actual place?" She asked quietly, still trying to figure out how to react.
