Now the rope... could be fun. twisted If you were already in the kitchen, it's one thing. If you had to get up it's another. You really need to baby that foot for a while. And I'm fairly sure Riri would look at it similarly. I know it's frustrating having to stay off your feet, but it's what needs to be done. When I busted up my knee I was quite helpless for a long time, and needed assistance to get around the house until I was able to get crutches. Even then, I still had problems with wanting to do more than I should. (Yes, I'm a bad patient too.) So I see where you're coming from. What are you doing to keep occupied while you're in the downtime?

Annette forgets when they put on coffee a lot. So I have made it a point to bring them their coffee to enjoy before it gets cold. I smell it, and listen 'till the dripper stops then bring it to Annette. ^_^ Well besides the Dr. Who binge (and my late night Law and Order SVU Binges) I have been playing Pokemon Black. I am getting my a** handed to me by a chick with level 74+ team. I will crush her... one day.... one... day... scream

And even then it was a very rare thing for me, but it sounds like you've found yourself a nice little challenge. pirate

I do it out of love, and to avoid coffee abuse. Such beautiful coffee left to chill, and Annette coffee-less. A tragedy!

Your intentions may have been pure, and admirable in my opinion. I've still got to side with Riri on this one. Any extra walking should be avoided, even those twenty steps to get Annette coffee if someone else is capable of doing the same task.

I think I now realize why I hate winter so much. For the sun is this thing, this pull, it kept me alive when times were bad. When all I wanted to do was die, I would look forward to the sun rising, and the warmth coming back. That was the only thing that kept me breathing, and kept me yanking my head out of the bath before I took a deep breath. At least the sun would rise, I would always tell myself. Another day, another sunrise, and another chance. I would get up and listen to waves instead of the voices in my head, and the pain in my heart. I would walk along the sand and find things. The sun is life to me. The sun is hope. I hate winter because to me it is despair and cold. No heat, no life, no chances, just cold and pain.
I hate winter.
