Stella grabbed her clutch and phone, looking in the mirror to make sure she looked out. Grabbing her car keys she walked down the hall and past Stephanie's now empty bedroom. She walked down the stairs and out the door, sliding into the drivers seat of her camaro. She started the car and put on her seatbelt, pulling out her phone to send Gage a quick text. On my way now. <3 She put her phone away and backed out of the driveway, heading towards Gage's apartments. When she got there she pulled into his garage, shutting off the car and gathering her stuff. She opened the door slowly, fixing her dress before heading to his apartment, tapping her knuckles on the door and opening it slowly.

 ɢαɢєGage smiled as Stella opened the door, a cake sitting on the counter next to him, the box still sitting by that... He hopped off the counter and hugged her lightly, smiling. "Hope you don't mind, I went a little crazy on the present..." he handed the box to her and when she'd open it a dress sat inside with a necklace and bracelet nestled on top of it... "I couldn't decide, so I got it all..."

Stella hugged Gage back and set her clutch and keys on the counter, hopping up next to them. She carefully pull the ribbon off, setting it beside her. She flipped the box over and opened it carefully, hopping that it doesn't tare as she opened it. She wiggled the lid off the box and slowly pulled out the necklace and bracelet, her jaw dropped and she looked up at Gage. She set the jewelry down and slowly pulled out the dress, watching it unfold itself. After staring at it for a few minutes she folded it carefully, putting everything back in the box. She hopped off the counter and wrapped her arms around Gage. "Thank you so much. I love it." She kissed him gently, her heels bringing her closer to his height.

Gage chuckled and wrapped his arms around Stella's waist, kissing her in return. "It was my pleasure Stell...And I'm glad you enjoy what I chose." Gage sighed, keeping Stella in his arms as he looked down at her, his fingers playing lightly against her spine. "And Stella, it's okay that you got spooked by my offer... I know it was unexpected.... But I just want to say, again, that there's no rush, it was just an offer. It doesn't mean I absolutely expect you to accept this quickly...." He smiled down at her and leaned down, nuzzling into her neck, his voice was muffled as he spoke, his breath brushing along her collarbone "Although, I will admit, I've missed you these last few days..."

Stella laid her head on Gage's shoulder, a small sparkling tear slid down her cheek, leaving a small water trail. She sighed and kissed his neck, nuzzling it gently. "I'm scared Gage..." She stepped away from him, another small tear sliding down her other cheek. "I'm afraid I'm falling for you to fast.. I'm afraid its all going to turn out to be a dream. Or that your going to change your mind and fall for Stephanie again. I've been hurt so many times.. I don't know whats wrong with me.. I'm just not as good as Stephanie.. I'm afraid your gonna turn out like all the other guys..." She looked away, using her thumb to wipe away the tears that were starting to flow down her cheeks.

Gage swept Stella up in his arms and moved to sit on the couch, making her look up at him "First of all, you aren't as good as Stephanie? Really? Then why is it your smile I want to see, your laughter I want to hear, your touch I want to feel? I want you around, whether you see it or not... And it's me that isn't the worthy one Stell... I do adore you, and trust me, I'm terrified of the same damn things... I'm scared that I'm going to end up hurt or end up hurting you.. I'm afraid of waking up and finding out that I'm saddled with Steph, and that you're someone's girl.... But I'm not afraid that I'm falling for you too fast.... Things happen in life Stella, things we can't control... And one of the biggest things is love, the people we care for, and how much we care for them, can't be controlled by us... No matter how hard we try..."

Stella looked up at Gage and chewed her lip. "Gage I love you. If you let me I wanna be with you forever. I mean it. I wanna move in with you. I really do. I'm only afraid that we're going to get tired of each other. We'd see each other every single day and we would run out of fun things that we could do. Thats what happens to everyone.. Married couples.. Engaged couples.. Dating couples. Or maybe I just havent heard of the stories that end up happy." She closed her mouth and took a deep breath, wiggling to sit next to him. Laying her head on his shoulder she stared out into space, now thinking of what she said.

Gage froze as Stella said she loved him, his stomach erupting in nerves as he smiled brilliantly "Stell, I love you too, and we're too awesome to become one of those couples.... There's always something to do...." He kissed her cheek and sighed softly "Besides, the water's fine, so jump right in..."

 Holly-Anne Tracey Holly checked her makeup, minimal as it was, in the rearview mirror as she parked outside the apartment complex... Once she was sure everything was perfect, she slid out of her Challenger and looked up, shading her eyes as she looked at Gage's front door... Her pink tinted lips turned up in a bright smile as she trotted up the stairs. She checked her outfit one last time before she knocked once and opened the door. She'd never had any issues before with walking into Gage's house, and they'd parted on good terms, remaining friends until she'd dropped off the radar due to a guy that was way too possessive.....

Stella had just pressed her lips to Gage's when the door opened. She looked towards the door and blinked a few times. Shocked when she saw another girl there, looking to be around Gage's age. "Um.. Gage... Who's that..." Her heart clenched, she couldn't believe she'd fallen for it. So theres another girl... I am such an idiot...

Gage stopped dead in his train of thought as he looked up as Stella spoke... Holl-A? What the hell was Holly doing here!? She'd been one of his best friends, even after they'd broke up.... But why was she here, and now of all times....? he looked over at Stella and frowned. "Stell, meet Holly-Anne, one of my longest standing friends..."

Holly-Anne Tracey Holly-Anne giggled and gave a half dip of a curtsy as she looked at him and then at Stella. "Hi darlin'... It's a pleasure to meet you... Sorry for barging in, I've never been big on knockin' when it comes to visitin' Gage here." Her voice was the perfect Southern Belle voice when she spoke, all sugar and southern sweetness... She gave another small laugh and looked back at Gage "Aren't ya gonna say hi honey, or you just gonna sit there with your mouth wide open, starin at me like I'm a dog that stood up and started talkin'....?"

Stella looked between Gage and Holly, her heart pounding in her chest. He has said friend hadn't he? Either way it was incredibly awkward as she fixed her hair and slowly slid her hand to Gage's. "Likewise. But why on Earth would he say honey. You two are just friends. If I heard correctly. Stella intertwined her fingers with Gage's, running her fingers through his hair a smile danced on her lips. There is no way in he'll she is just going to walk in her with that southern accent of hers and steal my.. What is he now. My boyfriend?

Gage fought not to laugh as he listened to Stella. He wrapped one arm around her waist and tucked her close to his body as he kissed her, this one wasn't his standard soft, it was what he'd wanted to do for a long while, unleashing passion behind it as he kissed her in front of his ex-girlfriend and friend. "She's just a friend Stella, we once were much more, but we parted on good terms and remained friends until one of her boyfriends decided that despite us being apart for two years, that I was still a threat to him." Gage motioned to Stella "This, is Stella, my girlfriend..."

Holly-Anne Tracey Holly-Anne's smile faded as she looked over at Stella for a long moment before she started laughing, her grey-green eyes sparkling with humor "Oh Stella, I didn't mean for Gage to say honey, I was calling him honey... I don't mean anythin' by it though... It's a long and hard to break habit for me...." Holly-Anne ran one hand through her hair and smiled at Gage before handing him a card. "We should all hang out sometime, go shoot pool or somthin'? Give me a call, I'll be in town for awhile..." She winked and smiled at them both before she left.
