F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace closed his eyes and sighed after she said she was fine. That was all he was worried about, he shifted a little in the grass putting a hand behind his head as some sort of comfort while his other layed protecticly over his throbbing side. He looked up at her again when she asked if he was okay. "Yeah, I'm fine," he said without much of anything besides the words in his voice. He didn't have a temper about it, just a bit of disinterst. He closed his eyes again just laying still and trying not to move much with his breathing being shallow and a little faster as he tried to make up for the air he wasn't taking in completely trying to save some pain. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє "Sleep, then keep moving in the morning after we get something to eat," he said quietly wrapping his arm around her softly. Rather quickly, exhaustion swept over him again. He fell into a deep and dark sleep that threatened to torture him if he thought to heavily on it or worried about it to much. Which he did. He didn't stir in his sleep other than to tense up occationally in his bad dream. It was of him trying to save Aesa from the men who persued them now. She was screaming for him to save her and keep her safe, crying on how he broke his promise to keep her safe. He started to run after her when his blood spilt in large quantities on the ground with him dropping onto his knees and then to the ground where his vision faded to black.
He woke up at sunrise shaking badly in the sunrise light before he closed his eyes tight and groaned softly rubbing his face. He hated the feeling that he had that made him feel sick. He didn't move though fearful that something worse would come from trying to run away from his imaginary fears. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace looked down and frowned seeing that he'd woken up Aesa. He closed his eyes and laid his head back down in the grass sighing loudly. He let out a weak shaky breath as he laid for a few more minutes. That vision in his head felt so real, sounded so real, looked so real. It scared him. Was he going crazy over this anxiety or was it the truth. He attacked his mind for a few more minutes pondering over this before opening his eyes up again with a sigh. He slowly moved his arm out from under him with his body still trembling a little bit, but much more mild now that he was moving.
"Alright, we are going to have to take an odd route around. They know what I look like, what you do, and so do many others who would gladly sell us out for money. Thieves against a thief and a mage is pretty much pointless unless we make the path the most confusing we can," he said in almost a silent voice as he looked around leaning heavily against the tree. He didn't think he could keep his unharmed act up for much longer without her noticing. He didn't want her to heal him due to getting so tired when she did, but he knew she would the second she knew. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace looked over at her upon her question before he nodded. There was someone, that was who he was planning to stumble across on the way here. If he was lucky, he was already here. "Lyuath Orelratheal," he said in the same quiet voice but with a bit of an accent to pronounce the elven name, "He's a halfling that I met on one of my heists. He'll help out, as long as he's not in a bad mood or been caught by the other--" His voice was cut off as he spun around drew his blade catching another in his hand and blocking a sword off his own. He crouched down on the ground as the molten green robed man's momentum was caught on his blade along with gravity. Ace snarled as he was forced to his knees and then rolled as the man rolled to the side. Both got up again with anger in each other's eyes. They rushed each other again with their swords echoing loudly in the woods. Ace threw his fist to the side trying to catch the man in the side of the head before he was kneed badly in the gut with both men sinking to their knees panting heavily.
Ace was shaking badly with blood falling from his lips and through the cut in his robe spilling on the ground. His astray blonde hair fell over his face as he groaned trying to get up again.
"Riddley?" the man asked in surprise showing his elvish human face with a smile standing up looking at him then helping his wounded friend to his feet. His short white hair fell across his eyes a little bit with a phoenix feather earring falling over his shoulder. Like usual, he was tall and thin, but he was still muscular from the life of fighting. He grabbed the fallen comrade's cloak and pulled him up making Ace wince and he dropped again to his knees doubled over holding his side breathing heavily now. "What the hell happened to you?" he asked quietly crouching next to him, "And who's your babe?" He smirked up at Aesa as he shook his head and smiled at her. Feeling Ace shutter he looked at his face that had become even more pale now. "Great, only time you wanna visit is when you are gonna die or when you want something," he teased him softly before pulling him up to his feet. He wrapped his arm around his neck as his friend just leaned forward barely on his feet.
"Nice to meet you, mage, I'm Lyuath. Old friend of Ace," he said with a soft smile. He dragged Ace slowly as his head hung down as he carried him. "Um, I suggest you get out of here, perferably with us. He's really sick and he's got a lot of wound issues, so he needs to lay down for a little bit. When he's healthy, I'll help you guys out, till then, come on," he said friendly. Unlike most strangers, he was rather nice and open and didn't have much to hide from many people. He walked quietly not looking back before he found a tree and put his hand to it. He whispered a few words and a door seemed to desolve from the tree. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Lyuath looked over at her and knew what she was thinking, but didn't voice against her unneeded concern. If she was worried, he would let her. Not every day do people drop out of trees who are friends and attack. He walked with Ace down the spiral stairs caring him more now just to be careful. Once he got down stairs, he whipped a fireball over at a touch and lit it making it glow lighting up the rest of the well decorated thieves' life. He smiled as he walked into a small room off to the side and laid him down on a huge bed. He looked at her Ace and sighed pulling away his clothes and weapons slowly being careful. He didn't know where the wound was but he knew it was bad. Eventually, he got down to his coat and under shirt. As soon as the coat was pulled back, the huge blot of blood could be seen against the white. He looked surprised at the amount of blood he'd lost again, and shook his head getting rid of that emotion.
Even slower now, he cut at the cloth with a knife he had in his belt eventually exposing the wound to the air. Ace gasped painfully as she tensed up badly again shuttering. The wound was long and deep running a sword wound running up his side that was traced in black. Poison. "Where did they get this?" he looked at him in shock shuttering a little bit as he saw him sweaty and ill. He put his fingers to his neck and sighed confirming what it was. He got up quickly and jogged over to the ground water pond that had formed below the tree just out of it's long reach. He gathered it into a cup and ran back to Ace grabbing a silk cloth and soaked it in the freezing water before pouring what was left over the wound. Ace hissed and tensed up but didn't move other than to tighten his grip over the bed.
"Relax, Riddley, it'll be over in a bit. You just have to stay with us here," he said in a soft spoken voice before he held the cloth over his wound. "Do you know how to sew?" Lyauth asked her hoping that she did. If she didn't, he was gonna have to settle for a sloppy job, but he would eventually heal. He didn't think he would be back on his feet in full condition for a while though. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Lyuthan watched her stroke him and try to comfort him watching him relax some actually at her touch. Ace's breathing relaxed a little bit and was less shaky, but he still wasn't in good condition at all. He tensed up again as Lyuath applied more pressure on the wound trying to get the blood to slow down so she could stitch it. "My fault, for not saying anything," he said quietly in a broken apart phrase. He was cold, pale, his heart rate and breathing were slowing down gradually and all his friend knew to do was put another toxin in his system that was less deadly but it would kill the venom along with trying to use leaches to suck out the contaminated blood.
Using that technique, he pulled out a water filled jar and started pulling leaches out quietly and attaching them to Ace's skin then injecting him with more liquids. Ace snarled and tensed up again clenching his hand in the bed sheets, the pain surprisingly was helping to keep him alive as it kept his heart rate up and functioning well. "Come on Riddley, I'm almost done," he said softly looking at his friend as he laid tense with his eyes closed. "I need you to close his wound though if he has any chance. If you don't, he'll bleed to death before the anti-venom has a chance to come into affect," he said in a soft voice continuing to hold a blood soaked cloth to the wound feeling his friend slowly slipping from them as his breathing became shallower and his heart rate slowed more and more. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє He took his post at Ace's side as she stitched his wound closed. "Come on moron, out of everything you've survived through, your gonna let a little knife cut kill you?" he asked softly just crouching next to him. His skin felt hot to the touch and it made him even more worried. This better work or his death was going to be slow and painful. He silently prayed to every god he could think of to keep him here and Aesa as well. Once she was done, he couldn't help but let a small sigh of relief at this looking over at her. Ace clenched his hand tightly around the side of the bed wincing a little bit as he just hurt so much. More than he had in a long time. This wasn't something he did on a daily basics and he didn't have any immunity built up to animal venom as there weren't many animals or creatures around to have to worry about. Only man made toxins.
Lyuath looked up into her pleading eyes and sighed slightly. "I don't know, I hope so, but I can't promise anything. This kind of venom isn't exactly easy to get over. Only if we wait is when we are gonna get results. The best we can do is fight off the symptoms, but not much more," he said standing to go get a clean cloth to try and cool his fever leaving her and Ace alone. He'd calmed down a lot but was still in pretty bad shape. He wasn't wincing much any more, but he was still terribly pained. He didn't open his eyes or voice it, though he found great comfort in her touch as it left him something else to think about other than this. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє {{Do you want to time skip to when he's on his feet again?}} Lyuthan just watched her take care of him and wished he could do more for his friend, but he was pacient. He knew in due time he would be on his feet again and irritatedly be walking around before he should. That was always like him and it probably would forever be. He picked his head up out of his thoughts and looked up at Aesa as she spoke and he nodded at. "Lyuthan, a friend of Ace--as you call him--from a while back. I don't understand why you call him that though, must have gotten into some trouble a while back. I hadn't seen him in years so I apologize for attacking. I couldn't recognize him in his coat," he said softly. He traced over his friend's bare torso seeing the scars and knew they held secrets he probably refused to tell as he kept them locked them away.
He stood up and feld his friends cheek, and took his pulse again sighing before getting up to leave the room. "I'm going to make some breakfast, join me if you want some," he said in a hushed tone as if it would disturb the now asleep Ace while he fell into dreamland. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark
