Destral was about to comment on what Brooke said when Teagan came in.
"Errr...I just wasn't sure what we would bring...so Brooke was explaining to me what I shouldn't. I asked too many questions and got in her way."
Destral felt it was mostly his fault for not getting anything, Brooke shouldn't have to take any of the blame. He noticed someone new with them, but didn't bother to comment.
Under his hood, Lucifer was studying Destral. It was almost as if the darkness took the original image of Destal and turned it into its exact dark copy, his garb now tighter and displayed constriction with its straps.

"Oh, I see. Totally fine then. Just gather food later." Teagan nodded, slumping down onto a couch and putting her feet up on the little table in front of her. "This man was looking for you, Destral." She pointed to the cloaked figure. "Says his name's Lucifer. Do you know him, Destral?"

Jesse giggled as she walked past Link. "If Destral hasn't found any berries, I'm sure you've got that covered." She skipped alongside Teagan and whistled a happy tune. "Gosh I'm in a good mood! Maybe it's because I got to explore this place a bit." She waved at Destral and Brooke, obviously not as tearful as before she left to find weapons.

Brooke was slightly startled by Teagan and the others' entrance. She felt really bad when Destral stood up for her.
Wow, that was really nice of him.
Brooke was caught by suprise when she noticed a new figure step into the house.
Lucifer.
She thought.
Hmm...
"Alright, well I guess I'll start packing the food now then." She said with a cute smile.

It was now midday. Teagan watched as the sun descended ever so slightly in the sky. She'd guessed it was around two o'clock. "Alrighty Brooke. Hm... I'm a vegetarian. Does anyone in this room eat meat?" It wouldn't make her angry if anyone did, she was just wondering if anyone would need to go hunting.

Jesse sighed. "Not very often, but when I'm in the wrong environment for plantlike, I have to. It's all for survival if I hunt..." Her eyes held a pained look. "I hate killing innocent creatures." She scuffed the ground with her foot and began to shift restlessly, eager to be out of the village. She didn't have anything against the people, it just stirred painful memories.

Destral shrugged, looking at the hooded man.
"I don't really remember...Sorry. Sounds familiar but I can't place it. Should I know it?"
Lucifer just shook his head, though he looked over at Brooke. He knew she would suspect something, if he knew her well enough. All of them seemed so worthy, but which ones truly deserved his teachings?
"Do not worry, it isn't anything important. I believe I tutored you back when you wanted to be an archangel. You seemed so spry and open at that time..."
Destral almost panicked when he said that, quickly trying to cover it up.
"Y-you must have me confused with someone else, I was never tutored by anyone."
He laughed a bit nervously, hopefully enough to be believable.
NOTICE: Kusugari, doesn't Destral want to be a demigod?
I will remove this once the error is fixed.

"I eat meat at times." Brooke answered Teagan. She turned her attention back to the stranger and stared him up and down, from the top of his hood to the bottom of his cloak. The man looked really suspicous. There's something odd about this guy... She thought to herself. I wish I knew what though.
Not wanting to think about it anymore, she turned around and continued to gather food for their trip to Hyrule.

Lucifer knew he should be careful now. He couldn't take a misstep, it could mean everything for him.
"I am sure that small creatures like that realize they would be eaten someday. It would probably be no real surprise to them if that fateful day were their last day. Its the balance of nature, death is nothing unfamiliar in that. So is night, but at night the small creatures have a much better chance. "
"You're talking like night is the way we should go if we want to spare lives. Anyway, are we moving or not? I thought we were going on an adventure!"
Destral smiled and rushed towards the door, eager to get moving.

"But, dear Lucifer." Teagan turned to him, clasping her hands together. "I believe all life forms deserve a chance to live. Remember, there are bigger creatures than us. Are we small to them? I am not going about my days thinking I'll be eaten at any moment."
"Destral, we aren't leaving until tomorrow morning. Why so eager?" Link asked, raising an eyebrow.

Destral turned and smiled at Link.
"Because I wanna go on an adventure. Why else not?"
"Maybe because its usually safer to stay at home..."
Destral gave Lucifer a glare, stepping back inside.
"Oh, REALLY? What, you think watching is much safer than doing something?!

"Destral, calm yourself." Link said sternly. "He was merely stating his opinion, none of us have to agree."
"While Link is right, watching is simply too... Boring. Flavorless. I'd drive myself nuts staying in my home all the time, I'd likely get so revved up I'd be a danger inside!" Teagan exclaimed.

While back in the kitchen continuing to gather food, Brooke over-heard the conversation going on in the other room, and couldn't help but laugh.
Zelda stealthily slipped past the guards around the castle, making her way toward the market. She glided down the streets until she came across a little book shop. She went inside, finding a book on the triforce, and beginning to read it as she walked out.

Lucifer suddenly backhanded Destral savagely, more for the contempt than the damage.
"You DO NOT disrespect me or judge my opinion. Watching is safer because you stay out of the line if danger while others distract the danger. Now, you WILL stay here, get some sleep, then we move in the morning, got it?!"
Destral simply looked at Lucifer, shocked, unable to come up with a way to talk back. The man had seemed so quiet, maybe a bit cynical...but he was capable of being very violent when his authority was questioned.
"...you heard him guys..."

"Whoa whoa whoa." Teagan stood up, taking a defensive stance in front of Destral and close to Lucifer, green eyes staring down his. "You DO NOT. I repeat, DO NOT hurt someone like that and get away with it while I'm here. And you are most certainly not going to shove us around like that tomorrow. Got it?!" She imitated his voice at the end, just to tick him off more.
Immediately Link's hand went to the hilt of his blade. "I suggest you leave, Lucifer." He stated calmly.
