✿ She swallowed at Alphonse's response, "How much is that?" Kari sat up a bit stiffer, feeling as Ed bumped her in his sleep before she looked down and felt sick again. "Al, should we wake him up? But he needs to sleep."





✿ She patted his hand gently, thinking about what he might need when he woke up before yawning herself. "Do you think he'll be hungry when he wakes up?"





✿ Kari rubbed her own eyes while she still felt sick, her stomach moving around within itself. She rubbed his cheek again, feeling bad for the situation they were in. Did Ed think she was a homonuclus too? She swallowed, her throat feeling dry and lumpy as she watched Ed move around in his sleep.

✿ Kari looked from Ed back to Al, wondering how she should go about to waking him up. If she did it too forwardly he might not want to go back to sleep, but she'd never woken someone up before other than herself and Scar sometimes.





✿ She cringed as she saw him squirm, picking up the washcloth and holding it in her hand while she put her other hand to his forehead and bent over him - getting close to his cheek and ear. Kari wasn't too sure what to say, she didn't know what was going on in his dreams, "It's ok Ed, everythings fine."





✿ She smoothed out his hair, pushing his bangs back before getting up to squeeze and water the cloth again; returning to his side and repeating her process. "Don't worry," She brushed his cheek before putting the cloth back on, leaning back and seeing to look if it helped at all.

✿ Kari huffed out air, blowing up her blunt bangs with slight anger. She leaned over him getting more and more frustrated as he groaned, "Ed you should change into something cooler, you're sweating all over."





✿ With that she tugged on his arm, pulling him up easier than she expected while she tugged off his red coat. "Why are you so layered?"





✿ Kari puffed up her cheeks angrily while she wrapped up his coat, tossing it onto the floor for that moment. "It's only been a few minutes. I'll go to sleep so be quiet pipsqueak and lay down."

✿ Kari had let out a huff, Ed's bad attitude was because he was sick but she began wishing he wasn't.





✿ She laid down next to him, getting close and putting an arm over his to reach and brush out his bangs again. "Just go to sleep you dope," Kari sat back up, grabbing the washcloth again before turning it and putting it on much of his forehead as she could so that it would stay on and not fall off.





✿ Then she laid back down, snuggling into his back to block out the sunlight.

✿ What felt like an hour later Kari woke up, rubbing her face around on the mattress before sitting up on her stomach. She looked around to what was infront of her, seeing whisps of her pink locks and the wall.





✿ Kari turned around, flipping onto her back while she completely sat up and rubbed her eyes; moving the hair pieces out of the way. She looked over and saw Al, rubbing her eyes once again before looking over and seeing that Ed was still asleep.





✿ Without much talk she stood up, looking at Al. "I"m hungry."

✿ She rubbed her eyes, sighing with a bit of exhaustion. "Yeah, I'll go look myself." Kari had stretched her arms up, groaning slightly and then sighing once she was finished. For a second she didn't know where to look, but the streets would be fine. Walking from the trainstation to the base back and forth she had memorized a bit of the store's alignment.





✿ She turned, looking toward the corner of the room before walking over and putting on her shoes; clipping them to her feet tightly. Kari stood up a bit again, looking back at Ed. "You know I don't think he'll wake up for a while."





✿ She walked over near the bed again, bending down and picking up his red coat before putting it on. Then she walked to the door, gabbing the collar of his jacket and sniffing it. "Ugh, it smells like boy sweat."

✿ Kari turned around, grinning at Al. "Yeah, let's go together. Ed's a big boy, he can take care of himself." She waved her arm around, opening the door before looking out and seeing the two guards turning to glare at her.





✿ Kari gave her best apologetic smile before continuing to walk, but the raven haired boy wouldn't allow it. He leaned forward, clamping his hand onto Ed's hood before pulling her back; making her cheeks turn red with anger. "H-Hey!" He leaned down, putting his face near hers while the blonde seemed to frett just a bit but still stood to attention. "Where do you think you're going?" Kari swatted his hand away, frowning before she sturned around and got into his face. "For you're information I'm going out." Daniel raised an eyebrow, turning around to see Alphonse in the doorway; but this didn't worry him at all. "Last time you left we got in trouble." At this she winced, smiling still. "Can't by gones be by gones?"





✿ Daniel leaned forward, still getting in her face. "We're going with you, it was our orders to watch you like a hawk." Kari blew air out of her mouth, making her bangs fly upwards as she sighed. "Fine, come on Alphonse."

✿ "What? You're out here for food." Kari snarled at Daniel, getting her fists up as they continued to walk out of the base, going down some stairs. "I said that awhile ago you idiot!" Daniel had frowned also, keeping his arms at his side while he looked at her. "Hey! Watch who you're talking to twerp." Kari stuck her tongue out, making sure to make many scruitenizing faces at Daniel.





✿ "Um, hey, um guys where are we going?" They had reached the outside, Kari not noticing that they had stepped outside. She stopped turning to look at Al for a moment, not knowing what to get. "Hey Al, what does Ed usually eat?"





✿ She looked before her, seeing the single main street with it's tiny shops going down each side.
