Allegro and Intermezzo was probably one of the most difficult songs I've ever played. It was ridiculously fast and like 20 minutes long. We played it at contest and had the highest score out of like 20 other bands. Another really difficult song we played was The Light Eternal. The only thing I can say was that song was ridiculous and there were sirens involved...

Alfred Reed's Armenian Dances... Have fun with the 5/8 time!
Loved the last movement!
I heard it was freaky for all the instrument parts... and... I play tuba... and THAT was freaky already...mdmzero0 Festive overture. ughh no one should make a euphonium part like that.
and heh... Festive Overture, I don't remember the Euphonium part... but it was a LOOONG Piece...

The only hard pieces that i have played are Hungarian March, it has a different name but i cant spell it, and Harry Potter, the one that has all of the books that are current in it. Uhh i hate them, sux even worse when you are 1st Clarinet and the Section Leader. Everybody needs help, jeez.

Ive played my share of music I would call difficult... My favorite of these was a song called varations on a korean folk song... I (1st Clarinet) had Melody throughout the whole song and it was just completely amazing.... good times...

Unfortunately, In the end our brass section couldnt step up to the plate so we had to chuck the song... I loved the clarinet and sax parts of that song...

We played the Robert Washburn one at camp. It was ridiculous. I was in first violin and we had to play in, like, 12th position. No joke. We also played Highlights from Wicked, which was really easy for me cuz I've listened to the cd like twenty million times and seen Wicked live three times. I know someone in the cast... xD

Hmm... the one with a REALLY slow and cool Clarinet opening and has things like Con Islancio and this crazy CRAZY percussion part?
Wicked was... well... Wicked! Just... no air in the beginning... the Tuba line when it's going "No one mourns the wicked!" is... tiring... but it was good!
I still have to see the musical! ... or at least find a recording of it...

The hardest song, my band ever played was "Flight of the Bumblebee", I know its not too hard, but we're a small band, so everyone had to be PERFECT. It ended up sounding okay, but the chromatic ending was killer.
