Finding herself unable to move, Barberie gently touches the Mask of Melora, a laquered scrap of hardened leather in the shape of a Leaf bearing the insignia of Melora, chained loosely to her bare hip. "Melora, bring your winds to scour my foes!"

Winds gust from behind Barbie to swirl around her foes . . . rather uselessly. Just as well, Barbie trusted her blade to channel Melora's will better than any old trinket.

Soveliss' spear drives itself into the huge beast, and it is pushed back toward the portal - as it recovers from the strike, it focuses both of its' eyes on the smaller Eladrin - roaring out toward him. Barberie's attempt to strike has no effect whatsoever.

The cloaked figure slips down the stairs and a bit off to the left, staying behind the large furry beast and now using one of the pillars for cover. Because of Soveliss forcing back the huge beast, the brimstone enemy is forced to move more to the right - finding an opening, which it uses to hurl a rock at Soveliss - this rock being aimed far better, and it smacks Soveliss right in the chest.

Each of the crystals release a short pulse of energy into the portal, which seems to cause it to stabilize somewhat - though it is still quite chaotic, and unstable. A bolt of lightning is thrown out from it, arcing between two crystals before hitting the wall on the east side of the area.

Looking over the battlefield Sentinel was a bit disappointed that all of the smaller creatures had fallen so easily. However, it would make protecting the others easier, with fewer threats remaining. He turned to the huge creature at the center of the opposition. That looked like it had some staying power. Striding forward, heedless of the magical shackle on his leg, Sentinel raises his shield, and brings it around in a backhand against the one remaining canine creature.

+11 damage, push it northeast, though I think it's a minion, and I get +1 to AC and reflex for a turn from shield defense

"'EY! BIG BEASTIE! CATCH!" Toranis would shout, reeling back with his open hand. He would conjure a trio of electric blades from thin air, and hurl them directly towards the largest monster.

MOVE ACTION

"Sentinel, you look like you're craving more action! Allow me to GIVE YOU A LIFT!" Toranis would bellow, gesturing in an uppercut-like fashion, summoning forth the winds of the storm to lift the Warforged off the ground, depositing him closer to the large collection of monsters after he finished with that dog-like creature.

3d4 + 23 lightning damage = 6 or 8 + 23 = 31 lightning damage, ignoring resistance and reducing immunity.

Sentinel can FLY!
