My screen name is Leon Loire. If you noticed the picture I posted of myself however, you will know that my last name is Nelson. Neither of which is important I guess. I'm twenty three and married. I've been married for less then a year, however I have known my wife and dated her for five years previous to marriage. I am in the army, something I am sure you would have noticed if you viewed the picture. I am a tanker crewman, but don't read into that. We don't use tanks in the war anymore and I haven't even seen one in over half a year. So I'm basically mechanized infantry. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan. Not much more to say on that aside from it isn't all it's cracked up to be.

On a more personal note, I am Polyamory however my wife is not. Well, thats not completely true. Me and my wife practice S&M in our daily life. I am her master, she is my slave. I won't go into details however I will state that despite what you may think, it works perfectly for us. As the master it is my job to bring in others for however long I wish. And since my wife prefers women, I only bring in women. Why she married me if she prefers women I get asked often. It's because I am the only man who she has ever been attracted to and fulfills every quality she ever wanted in one. I make it a personal goal to always better myself for her sake and for the sake of our marriage. And I am proud of the fact that if there is anything I am good at, it's relationships and women.

I am a pacifist. And I disagree with the military and it's views. I joined for my wife's sake so don't judge me. I'm not some grunt who enjoys killing and is all hooah about being a soldier. I get annoyed when the others brag about the dog they had to shoot or how they just want to put a couple in the heads of the locals. I'm here to do my job so my wife can be happy and safe at home, well fed with a roof over her head. And if I have to take a life so I can return to her, I will. I may not like it, but it's my duty. Not my duty to my Army, but my duty to her.

That was longer then expected. If you have any questions just ask. I have much wisdom and experience to offer. That and any conversation will make this deployment go faster.
Welcome Leon. This guild (and in particular this thread) is not set up to judge others. As long as you're safe and healthy in what you do, no one here will take issue with it. You are welcome here, no worries about these things smile

Welcome. You aren't the only kinky person here if that makes you feel better. pirate I am the s side of things myself.

I do not feel bad nor hide what I do. A trait that has continually brought me belittlement and disrespect in my line of work. I believe that if someone is going to either like me or hate me, it's because of who I am. Not who I am pretending to be or for the information I don't tell them. A quality that has gotten me many enemies but the closest friends I could hope for. Fair trade.

Good on ya! Feel free to explore. We're generally a friendly lot, as I'm sure you've noticed, and the majority of us are at least a little bit kinky, some more so than others. A few of us are registered on some "alternative" sites, but I'm not going to go pointing them out wink That said, welcome aboard and make yourself at home, Leon!

Then perhaps a good place to start would be asking for some directions. What shall I do from here, what should I do for the guild and for myself. I have never been at the bottom of the barrel so to speak in any online community before, so this is a tad new to me.

Well, I personally use the "About the Members" subforum to keep up with what everyone is up to, and have my own thread that I update with news great and small. It may be a good start for you too. Beyond that, read, if you find an interesting thread, post, if it's a really old thread even we tend to be pretty forgiving to "necroed" threads.

Fair enough. I don't get the chance to read often since when I am on I am either talking to my wife or working with my eBay listings. But I will post something when I get the chance. Your help is appreciated.

Not a problem, Leon. And my PM box is always open if there's something you want to ask directly, it looks like we're on at roughly the same times.

I appreciate the offer. However I doubt we are on at the same times. My schedule changes every day since I am deployed. Patrol times change, guard times change, who knows when I will be too tired to do anything but nap in my free time. I'm on when I am on. I don't have a set schedule.

Well, I'm on during the night here in Central US timezone. Work at night. (For example, it's 0345 currently, roughly my lunch time)

Time for an introduction! Hello everyone, I'm Marian, mid 20's and married. My husband isn't keen on the polyamory so for now and the foreseeable future it's just the two of us but the idea has always intrigued me (I by no means see it as an excuse for cheating though as I'm sure no one here does so unless I have the full consent of my husband and potential partner then I won't be experiencing it any time soon) I am also bissexual if anyone wanted to know.

Outside of this I suppose I'd be considered a geek, I love to read, play RPG's, watch a little anime + read a little manga. I do play table top RPG's as well as those on console's but I don't get to play them as much. I suppose the only other important thing about me is that I'm a huge Star Wars fan. And that's about all I can think of for now ^^

I am noticing this geeky trend of polyfolk in the guild. But I guess given the venue (Gaia) it's not terrible surprising.

What kind of tabletops do you play?

And welcome to the guild smile

I guess introductions are in order my name is Nathan and for the longest time I was the only person I knew like this and now apparently now that I have become honest about it to others I have found a few other people who had felt the same way. My girlfriend is the second person I told the first is another young woman I have feelings for (though I haven't told her yet) they are both the same way. I thank god for being surrounded by like minded people but neither one knows where to go from here. Anyway it is truly a pleasure to meet all of you here and all to come

I had noticed that quite a few others had described themselves as geeky ^^

I've played mainly dungeons and dragons but I like the Star Wars version of it a lot more. I also play the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game and intend to enter a national tournament probably next year now. I've also been tempted by magic the gathering but don't currently have anyone who could teach me to play.
