"Alright then..." she murmured at nothing. A hint of sadness clung to her voice, though she wasn't all that sad about moving on. Namine kept walking towards town, her footsteps echoing hollow sounds on the dirt.
She wandered around for hours, hitting prime bars and hangouts for chances at finding work. No wanted posters seemed to be around, nor did she like looking for them.

:: Kallman jumped onto the branches as he jumped up into his treehouse. He walked in and it was empty. Drake must have left. Kallman went looking in the cupboards for something to eat. Hmm..nothing really good and he had no way of regfertaing food in his treehouse. He had a tiny cooler which he kept his important stuff in. He had two steaks in there for a special occasion which hadn't happened yet. He was waiting for the right person to eat the steaks with. Kallman sighed as he thought of the fox girl, he hoped she would remember his offer.::

It had taken a lot of searching and questioing, but Namine found a small offer. To skin water snake hides and deliver them to the requester. Far from glamourous in her department of expertise, but it was something.
With a sigh, she walked back to the swamp, wondering where to start looking first--for both the snakes and possibly Kallman.

::Kallman warmed up a thing of soup for himself and sat on his couch thinking.:: "That girl she was something" ::Kallman remembered his older sister teasing him by saying he would fall for a half breed and heck she was right. Kallman liked this girl. Kallman had liked Hanna to but this girl had a deeper feeling to it. Kallman had to stop himself. He slapped himself spilling his soup on the floor. After cleaning up he crashed head first onto his couch as he tirelessy fell into a deep slumber::

Namine hadn't bothered to go back to town in the middle of the night. She didn't have enough to get a decent meal; she sure as hell didn't have enough for a room at an inn. Instead, she found herself wandering through the trees of the swamp aimlessly. Of course it wouldn't be hard to find snakes near water if they were watersnakes...but to find them in the dark made it difficult.
So Namine had all but given up on trying to do that tonight, and just looked for a semi-decent place to crash. It seemed the only place to do that was on a tree branch, away from the moist ground and critters. And that she did. Sitting back against the trunk and on a high branch, Namine let her leg hang off and sway a little as she lulled herself to sleep for the night.

::Kallman was sleeping:: "zzzzzz" ::The poisonous bugs were out and taking their aim at any intruder. They saw the girl and flew straight toward her. Kallman shot up, smelling her scent and went after her. He jumped toward the trees, picked her up gently and dropped her on the couch.:: "That was close" ::He whispered now realizing one of the bugs had got him as he crashed onto the floor unconsious::

She slept soundly and hadn't even stirred at the movement. Unconsciously, Namine curled up on the couch and kept on sleeping.
But morning came and, on her own natural accord, woke up. She blinked a few times--and panicked slightly. Where was the tree she was on? Why was the scent different? Where was she now? Namine shot up and looked around frantically. It only added to her panic to see Kallman on the floor. Jumping from the couch to his side, she shook him worryingly. "...Kallman?" she first asked softly, her voice sounding as though she could have started to cry, then it intensified, "..Kallman?!"

::No answer, Kallman was bitten by the bugs and it someone didnt' suck it out he would die very shortly.::

Namine whimpered a little, girly instincts telling her to start crying, but shook her head and forced herself to remain calm. Tears never did anyone any good, they always told her. And dammit, they were right. Biting her lip--her way of reminding herself to keep her composure--Namine furiously checked Kallman for any signs of what was wrong. She laid him out on his back, brushing through his fur with her palm to check for anything and everything.
It took a minute or two, but she found something: a small, swollen area around his shoulder. She stared at it for a moment, wondering what it was, but then wondered if her medicines would do any good. There was stuff for small cuts, bandages, minor burns.....swollen bug bite medicine was not accounted for.
With a small gulp, Namine sat over him, legs straddled to his sides, and leaned down to the swollen bite. (It was good luck that she remembered older, and more primitive, remedies from her elders, or there was no way she would've considered this.) Gently pressing her lips around it like a soft kiss, Namine started to suck out whatever poison was there little by little, spitting it out on the floor next to him when the taste got to be too much.
[[ Okay, that's it. xP Sorry if I write WAY too much detail...but that last part, xD I could not resist. lols. ]]

She squeaked a little, blushing furiously. In an instant, Namine sat up straight, almost in shock. Dear god, she was embarrassed as hell. "H-H-Hey K-Kallman," she replied, flushed. "A-Are you...alright?" She gave a nervous smile. In all her embarrassment, Namine forgot to get off of him.

"Yes, I'm fine now could you please get off of me." ::Kallman said calmly, he was forcing himself to stay calm. He still wondered how in the heck did he end up on the floor with her ontop. Suddenly he started to think crazy things. He thought no she wouldn't.::

::Kallman got up slowly.:: "Okay first how did you get on top of me? Second how did I end up on the floor?" ::Kallman realizes he's still wearing the shirt he spilled soup on. He quickly threw off his shirt throwing it to the side.::
