I'm currently taking Japanese 2 high school level and am ok at Japanese(I'm currently brushing up on it since over the few months I've gotten a bit rusty on it) and also taking French 1 high school level. I love an manga and all manga really(especially Yaoi <3) I like anime though depending on the series I like manga's better then the anime version or vice versa, but like I said, epends all on the series. I'm an active role player, drawer(currently drawing my own chibi manga) and writer(currently working on 3 different books, one is a light novel, the rest are undecided on how long they should be.) Also I have an amercian short haired neko and a shibu inu(who was born in nihon but from kankoku, who was brought to amerika...) They are both go sai and very kawaii, though urusai.
I'm looking forward to being here with everyone. Ja, mata minna-san!

I just graduated high school and I'm 18. Been on gaia since I was 11. I have always been into the japanese culture and been trying to learn the language for awhile. I like to read, write, draw and make music.
I took Japanese for 3 years at my high school. I had a wonderful native teacher who taught me well. I was learning Japanese sometime before that, and I'm still learning now... And, I wish to continue learning.
I like Vocaloid/UTAU, Katy Perry, Nana Kitade, Nightmare, Maximum The Hormone, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Lady Gaga, Rammstein, and OOMPH! And whole bunch of other things...
I tend to write my Japanese formally and I have dyslexia.

Ohh I'm from Belgium ,originally ....and came to Brooklyn,NY,WHER NY LIFE HAS SPIRALED OUTTA CONTROL,NVM ALL THAT CRAP, IM STILL STANTING ON WOOD,Y'ALL HEAR ME, A LITTLE JEWESH GIRL GONE WRONG! Hello! My name is Amanda. I have taken 3 levels of Japanese in college but I don't remember a. lot of it crying Mostly because I don't use Japanese outside of the class. I would like to find someone would be will to help improve my Japanese smile
My goal in learning Japanese to read it well enough to read RAWs in Japanese scans. I would also want to live/visit Japan in the future as well.

I've been wanting to learn Japanese for quite a while now, but have only really started making an effort in the last 6 months... And I'm only just getting the hang of reading hiragana, not that I have much in the way of understanding what I'm reading ^^;
So yeah, working on it.
