Tam is on his feet immediately tossing down a pile of pillows nearer to the fire so she can lie down. "Here, m'lady.... come get comfortable." he says helping her to maneuver about the furniture by simply moving it out of her way.

He's certainly moving around enough...and I can feel it...it's almost time...I've gone through this before, you know. We probably didn't estimate when I was impregnated early enough.

Hope is immediately attentive. "Is there anything I can get you, Fortuny.... more pillows, a warm blanket.... a glass of water..." He rattle on still, but Salunia pounces over and rolls into him, effectively calming him down without even meaning to.
"Whassup...." she begs to know. "Why eveone all eggcited?"

Fortuny says it's almost time. Yer going to be an uncle again... fairly soon..." says Tam making the lioness comfortable. "Should I go get her now, dear heart? I could pop up there and be back in no time. She may need some time getting her things together. Kero... check the stew on the fire, will ye... don't want it getting too hot or the fish will go all rubbery."

Bez shakes his head. "And so he is... is he really that good of a cook?" But there is a glimmer of mischief in his eyes as he asks this. Suddenly Puss walks into the room. It takes one look at Bez and arches it's back, slowly backing away.

Not perfect, but I certainly know my way around one...and with Sira gone, I'm the one left to take care of the food...though he really is a very good cook...

Hopian nods. "Yeah, Tam really isn't bad... just don't tell him I said so... What's with that fool of a cat anyway?" he asks looking at the tiny creature which is huddled under the desk.
Bez gives him a thin smile. "Puss and I don't always see eye to eye... especially when it come to running into a fire rather than away from one. Salunia, dear, could you bring him here. I think I should apologize."

Bez takes the cat into his hand with a soft sigh. "Puss, I'm not going to hurt you or control ye, so relax already. "Have yer daddy look at that scratch, kitten. Cats dig around in all sorts of stuff, don't want to get sick now, do ye. He'll wash it fer ye." says Bez, cradling the cat on his lap, slowly petting it until it begins to calm down.

She lets him treat the scratch but she's not at all happy about it and when she comes back into the room she glares at the cat on Bez's lap. Her reaction is not lost on the dark haired warrior, who sighs and shakes his head.
"Kitten, he's scared.... haven't ye been scared before... I made him do something that frightened 8 of his nine lives away.... or so he believes, though he was a very brave kitty to do it for me."
