She nods with an enormous grin. "Uhuh... how did ye know? I'm really not all that big... only a little bit bigger than Em and he's allowed inside, but I guess he's right in that when we're both like that, it does get crowded."

Mara lopes back with two pieces of ribbon. "Found them!" she growls dropping them down by Ari's feet. "Where to now?"

Mara shakes herself hard then shifts form back to that of a dark haired girl. There is mischief in her eyes as she ties one ribbon to the string about her wrist. "A big know it all.... just what we need, huh Ari?"

Ari rolls her eyes. "The wrold seems full of them of late. Em, Ma and now him... sheesh... at least Dad doesn't try to tell us that."

"Yeah... he just says do it.... or else..." laughs her sister. "So where has Mama gone now?"

Ari scrinches up her nose and concentrates. "Some place higher than here, warm with lots of water... he's putting the ribbons in a pot that feels damp yet not wet..."

Mara laughs. "He's in Em's bath I bet.... see iffin ye can pin point him better than that."

Ari tries, but ends up rubbing her forehead, trying to ease the crease of pain she's beginning to form. "Sorry.. something's interfering and I'm getting one of those dang headaches... I'm not going to be much use in a bit, I fear."

Mara gives her a hug and tells her to rest. "If she works too hard, she gets these headaches that almost blind her they can get so bad. Ari, can ye get us up to Em's place? I'll find the ribbons and ye can rest in one of the pools... fair enough?"

Ari shakes her head. "No can do, Mari.... I'd probably drop us in a pool or out the window.... I could try flying ye though... I think I can manage a morph." she offers hesitantly.

Mara shakes her head as well. "No way, I'd fly myself iffin I could and ye know it... but hitching a ride on ye when yer like this would be wrong. We'll walk, I guess. It isn't too far, only about five miles. Think ye can make it?" she asks eying the late afternoon sky. (hmmm, either the day/night cycle is different here than in the realm or someone did a bit of timing....)

Ari chuckles sourly. "Yeah... I guess... walking doesn't make it worse... just porting and viewing... and if we don't show in time fer dinner, Dad will come get us. He always knows where we are... Ma, too, for that matter... Darn, I really wanted to get those last two ribbons."

Her twin helps her to her feet and starts off leading the way up towards the forest. "Wish I knew what makes it happen... Is it the porting or the viewing... or something else?"

Ari shrugs as she looks down at Kerobian. "Yer going to have a hard time keeping up with us in that form... " she warns worriedly.

Mara looks back and squeals. "Ari, what is that thing?"

"Kero..." retorts her twin with a grin. "Maybe he can give us a ride..." she says looking at him thoughtfully. "Think ye can, big brother?"

Mara laughs and climbs up eagerly, but Ari takes her time. She seems to be having a bit of difficulty, so Mara simpky reaches down and pulls her up by the arm. "Headache worse?" she asks softly.

Ari nods weakly. "Yeah... really getting bad this time... sorry guys... this one is going to be a doozie."

Mara's sense of balance seems to be a touch better t han Ari's and she pulls her sister in front of her so she can hold onto her as they ride.

"This is fun, Kero." she tells him as he winds his way up through the forest and towards the cave. "Too bad we don't have snakes like you on the island. I'd try to tame one..."

"Ye would... " laughs her twin.

"Not you, silly.... Daddy says it is wrong to tame sentient people... but I have all sorts of creatures that I've tamed up in my yard.

**Mara's talents seem to lie along side strength and being able to communicate with lower life forms.**
