Malina did not emerge from the hole for some time. For a while, the hole was silent with no sign of what had happened to her. Just when it seemed as though Malina may have traveled back through to her own world after all, a distant gasp and faint sniffling echoed from the depths. Looking upwards, one could see that this crater wasn't all there was to it. There has a barely distinguishable Malina-shaped mark in the sky too, slightly darker than the sky surrounding it. Unfortunately, clouds danced across it, making it even less distinguishable and the shape was growing fainter and fainter with each passing minute.

"A few of them, but that was awhile ago when I...was...in...school." Minty went very quiet when she finished the sentence, now remembering what she'd forgotten somehow, "Dammit."
(Isn't that how it works for everyone? We decide what we want to do and then we go about doing it, or trying to anyways. Super simplified version of life.)When nothing happened, Minty walked over to the hole and looked down at Malina, "Sure I can't interest you in some more punch?"
There was a sense of something closing. An ending in the continues story of life. But what could you do but keep moving forward? Punch was always a delicious and refreshing next step."That works for me!" Minty got out a sharpie and started making labels for the cans.

Amusement threatened to make him chuckle, but he did his best to hold it back.
"You are not in school any more, I can correctly say? I believe that means you have these hours to do as you please now. What ever will you do?"
A chuckle did slip out as she swore, it was rather cute in a way.
"There are worse things to have done besides reading, do not fret my doll."
((Trying being the operative word there. Heh, rather yes. ))

Malina sighed and reached a hand up for help out of the hole. With her other hand she clutched a torn, crumbled drawing, a broken bracelet, and a small piece of ribbon. She stuffed these items into her blouse and then wiped tears from her eyes. Unknown to her, this would-be poetic moment was a bit ruined by the fact that there was a discarded used condom thrown from the party stuck in the back of her hair. Malina took a deep breath to collect herself and called up to Minty, "I'm ready now," although she wasn't quite sure what she was ready for, "And thank you, I think I will try some more punch."

(Yes? I WANT TO SEE ALL THE GIGI ARTS) Nah, those have more bite. Not the fun kind either. >w> ( w> You do? I actually have two that need to be colored. One might even be a character floating about here. Oh, but I have the last two pics for birthdays I did. I've been playing with the watercolor brush. Also a few lil doodles of Bree~ )

I think the Creme de Menthe ones are nice, if you can find them. A lot milder than the peppermint.
(I doooo! Yay watercolor! That is my personal favorite medium to work in.)

Malina felt the light touch on the back of her head and absently ran a hand through her hair. Her hand froze mid-way through as her fingers became entwined in something sticky. It was then that she noticed the condom in Minty's hand as she attempted to toss it away. A look of horror and realization crossed Malina's face. Her eyes widely scanned her surroundings, landing on a nearby punch bowl. Without thinking twice, she made a mad dash for the bowl and dunked her whole head in.

I've been enjoying it immensely with the program I now have. When I had more room, I'd occasionally do watercolor not on the computer, gasp! )
