Kaylene glanced down again at Sen while she waited for Askari's answer. She seemed to be staring at her intently. She raised an eyebrow questioningly. She moved toward the small girl's ear and whispered, "What is it, little one? Is there something on your mind?"

Askari's ears twitched when Kaylene had asker her about her clothing. "This? Impa used to make me wear it when we'd train. It's easy to move around in, which makes it easier to dodge attacks. It's not very helpful when I'm hit, but there's some hidden armor under." she said with a smile.

Sen looked into Kaylene's eyes. "Are you going to let Sen come? Or is she going to stay here?" Sen asked sadly when Kaylene asked what was on her mind. She didn't want to leave Kaylene alone, because anything, that man Fai would be there. She sighed softly hoping that he would just leave them alone... if he tried anything... the vines... they would want his blood.

Kaylene nodded to Askari. Maybe it was a little more practical than her long flowy dress. But then again, she had never worn pants or anything that wasn't a skirt. Sighing, she turning her attention back to Sen. She was a little caught of guard by her question. "Come with? Sen.. this is going to be dangerous... I am not sure. But it isn't my choice to make..." She trailed off, thinking. She could really try and protect her the whole time, could she? She had to help the others and look out for Fai the way it was. She didn't need another friend of hers getting hurt by the man. 'Specially since Sen had bit him. She was sure he would be angry about that.

Sen looked at the ground, "Sen understands... Sen would probably just get in the way..." She sighed, she really wanted to go. "But Sen would try not to get in the way! She will try her best, please Mama?" She begged looking up at Kaylene with big eyes.

Kaylene sighed and ruffled Sen's hair a bit. "Alright.. You can go. But there is going to be a lot of ice cold water... big scary monsters... and then Fai will be there too. I can almost guarantee it. But you will have to be on your best behavior... And whatever you do, you must do exactly what I say, no matter what the circumstances are, ok?" If things got dangerous, she would not risk the small girl's life. She would let herself die before she let her friends get hurt.

Denji looked away from Askari quickly. She looked rather... strange as a guy. It made him kind of nervous. Instead, his eyes focused on Alois. He barely noticed the kid last night. He was just quiet. "Can you handle it, kid? Someone might need to stay behind with Mercutio." Denji mumbled. Mercutio shot him an angry stare, but he could understand why Denji would want him to be left behind. He couldn't swim, and even if he could, he hated being around water. It was nature for cats, but only Denji had no choice. As the Hero of Time, he needed to be in the temple to save the Water Sage. Denji stared back, then chuckled. "You're too small to look remotely threatening."
Mercutio shook his head and sighed. "I can stay behind as long as I have soemthing to do..." Mercutio mumbled saddly. He had the thought of being separated from Kaylene, but it wasn't practical for him to go.

Alois shrugged, "If that's the way I can help. My appearance helps in fighting though, they think they can underestimate me because of my age.." the child mumbled.
Askari left the room for a second to change back into her normal clothes, her blue long-sleeved shirt and pants that she always wore, coming back out with her now lower back-length hair tied into a ponytail with her hair, making it look somewhat shorter than it was.

"You can fight? I suppose it's only natural... You might of better use with Mercutio. He can't fight at all, so someone who knows what they're doing such stay behind... even if it is a small kid..." Denji shrugged. Go figure... Mercutio was only good for medical purpose.

Sen smiled brightly, "Okay! Sen's not scared, Sen wants to protect Mommy from bad man!" sen said, blinking over at Alois. "Why can't Al-oi-s come with?" She asked, looking over at Kaylene with a small frown. She enjoyed Alois' company since he was the only person besides Mercutio and Kaylene that didn't see Sen as a monster or a brat.

"If Alois goes, then Mercutio will be lonely. He's sad enough becuase he can't go with you and um... mommy." Denji shrugged and rose from his seat. "If he really wants to go, I can't stop him. It would be nice if he didn't come, though, sweetie." He looked towards Askari with a more comfortable look then before.
((I think I need another character. I have a small Romeo and Juliette theme going on here and it needs to be bigger.))

"Oh..." Sen said, looking at the ground, then looking up at Denji. "What if Sen stayed with Mer, and Al-oi-s went to help you guys? That is if Mer doesn't mind Sen's company..." Sen looked over at Mercutio as her head tilted a bit and her ear twitched.

Alois smiled at Sen's offer, but shook his head. "It's alright, Sen. You go with. I'll stay with..Mercutio." he said, unsure if he'd gotten the name right since he'd only heard it about once.
Askari nodded, "It would be a good idea to have someone stay with Mercutio since he isn't much of a fighter. He's a medical help, but not so great in fighting," she said. The blonde stretched her arms up, aching slightly as she did so but not letting much of the ache show at all. "Well, we should get going," the girl said with a smile. Well, not really a girl anymore.

Kaylene set Sen on the ground and sighed. "She would rather both of them stayed behind so neither of them would get hurt... Plus it would make moving things along a lot easier. She didn't know too much about this Alios boy, but she could tell he wouldn't be too much of a handful. Sen on the other hand... However when Denji said 'mommy', she crossed her arms. Sen was way too old to be hers.. and well... she wasn't much of a mother. But still.. she had to admit, Sen was very sweet... even if she was a peculiar little girl. SHe cleared her throat and said, "Perhaps it would be best if we kept the numbers down? We could risk less detection and we could move a lot faster." Kaylene also added silently, 'And less opprotunities for Fai to hurt my friends...'

"But, Mama, who's going to protect you? Bad man is after you, and Mer and I won't be there to help you..." Sen grasped Kaylene's skirts as tears filled her eyes as she looked up at her. She couldn't bare to know that Kaylene had gotten taken away from her due to that bad man, she wanted to make sure that Kaylene never left her like that again.
