Bez shakes his head. "Naw... not going to happen... not here, that's fer sure... I'm saving that fer a certain bed someone had built. I've been eying that thing fer years."

Shar stops and turns about. "Bed?"

Now Ai is really blushing hard, so hard she's glowing, causing Hopian to laugh as well.

"Oh it's a dandy one, I tell ye... Fortuny and I sure are missing it... a right fine bed indeed." he quips waggling his brows.

Pyropian enters the room with Honorian and exclaims. "Ai, you're back to normal... well no I guess not... I don't really think that shade of red was your color. What's up?"

Pyropian jumps and looks around for Honorian, making them all laugh.

"I'm fine, thank you..." says Ai with a d chuckle. "These fine upstanding people are testing my embarrass-o-meter.... and I'm sorry to say, it's online, 100%. Come see me later... iffin ye want, but only with permission, got it. I don't need yer dad on my case as well as this crowd."

"Aw, but ye look so cute when yer cheeks are all rosy." laughs Bez nuzzling her gently.

Pyropian smiles at them and nods. "I just might do that. We still have a few problems with that issue at home. Later then.... eeep!" He starts to fade, then solidifies with Honorian's paw firmly planted on his back.

"Going somewhere?" growls the fiery lion.

"I was coming home... really I was...." groans the cub rolling his eyes.

"Sure sure sure... and I'm the King of Sheba... next time ask... for now, I'm going to let yer mother handle this... and she doesn't like waiting, got that?"

The cub nods worriedly and quickly disappears, leaving Honorian standing there shaking his head. "I wish I understood the fascination he has for you people. But be that as it may be, I'd rather ye don't go calling him back anytime soon. He's needed back home right now..." and with that Honorian disappears as well.

Ai sighs heavily. "Internal problems... amongst the children." She looks at Hopian and smiles thinly. "Bet yer glad yer here and not there, huh... I bet Safirea is giving them a run fer their money..."

Hopian sighs. "She's managed to alienate most of the clan.... and she's been doing it on purpose. Tam's been working with Pyropian and his family to try and stem the problem before it gets too far out of hand."

Ai nods grimly. "I knew people were upset with her attitude, but didn't realize how serious it was getting until I heard Fortuny bad mouth her repeatedly... and" she sighs sadly. "She wasn't the only one."

Ai nods, "She avoids me... like the plague... but I don't think things have proceeded to point where she can't function yet.... If everyone works together I think they can break the ice about her heart, she's going to fight them, but it can be done... She wouldn't be a gem-child otherwise..."

Ai nods again. "It won't be easy, she's going to fight them all the way, but if they simply keep showing her that she's loved no matter what, I think she'll melt eventually." She looks sideways at Bez and smiles shyly. "Sometimes stubbornness is a virtue."

Bez makes a humorous off colored remark about a certain lion always wedging himself between the two of them which makes Ai laugh so hard she cries.

"Don't let him trouble ye, Kero... he's just jealous." laughs the lioness softly shaking her head. "But iffin he sticks around, yer going to have to realize... he's not going to allow this very often. Yer getting a bit big fer this..."

Ai nuzzles him gently. "And I'll be there to chase them away, never ye fear... hopefully he learns to knock though... the two in the morning sudden appearances might get a bit dicey"
