I used a photo beside it while i painted it, I find it very helpful to do lots of studies as well as lots of your own drawings smile

the-muddy I used a photo beside it while i painted it, I find it very helpful to do lots of studies as well as lots of your own drawings smile +1 That's partly why I advocated for another 100 day challenge -- the challenges force me to do lots of studies! A painting study like muddy just did would take me about ten hours, though. gonk I just sketch sketch sketch. When I'm not doing a challenge like this, I try to go to a figure drawing group or something so I don't get tooooo rusty. I've got a thread in AF right now where I'm drawing people from photos.

it's maybe hard to tell because i didn't colour and also crappy camera quality but i tried to draw some kind of bee costume person. emo
