Indigo was a little afraid to do it. What of he was unable to change back again. What if it stayed this time? He would be forced apart from Alma for forever then. He was curious about the others too though and he wanted to stay with Alma. "I would never abandon you."

Aqua frowned when he was told that they were one and the same now. He pulled away when he forcibly kissed him. "I don't want to rule the planet and my Weston doesn't want that either. I just want to have a simple life with my husband and children taking care of our people."

Luke smiled to her and started walking her back. "So how are you enjoying our kingdom?"

Alma saw the look on Indigo's face and felt his own expression soften. "I appreciate you saying that, but I wasn't referring to the mountain." He avoided talking about the house, you never knew who was listening. "We've seen all we needed there. This time, I was thinking we got to the submerged island cove, It's all shallow water unless we head out towards the ocean. "With the info we've gathered, I have an idea of where to go next."

Weston's face dead-panned for a moment before laughing. "Who said we have a choice? We carry the blood and we possess the magic. If a simple life one seeks, then a hard fought battle one shall be given." He looked back out over the balcony. "...the war is coming, and none shall withstand it alone."

"It is very different in a lot of ways." Lorelai started. "The food is great and there are different fruits here that I can't wait to try. The clothing here is so pretty and easily to move around in, even in the heat." She smiled up at Luke.

"Did you read my mind? I didn't say anything about the mountain. I will go anywhere with you though." Indigo smiled to him and reached out to touch his hand.

"Why does there have to be a war? You are the one starting it. You don't have to." Aqua frowned. He still didn't believe this was his love.

"I am glad you like it here. Maybe you can just stay here. We could be married." Luke offered to her. After all it wasn't unheard of to decode for two royals to get married to form bonds. That way it would also make him actual royalty.

"You didn't, but I read your face." Alma commented. "And considering that I spoke of the island and you looked worried, there was only one place that could match that feeling. So I wanted you to-" He stopped and looked down at the hand suddenly touching his. Slowly, he looked back at Indigo and his thoughts froze as the sunlight cast across the other, the shimmering ocean behind him. "...marry me."

The angel blushed and his wings flared up. "Um...that is, I mean-! Eventually I hope to, but right now is... Ugh..." He didn't move his hand away, but he covered his face with his wings.

Weston looked at Aqua, a bit sad this time. "Are your eyes more powerful than your ears, that you have failed to hear what are my fears? Then allow me to say it straight, in hopes that you'll assist me in avoiding my fate." He cleared his throat, the glow in one of his eyes fading. This time when he spoke, there was a slight echo to his voice.

"Most of the ocean Kings did perish in the past, but two survived, in a way. One that was trapped with a spell within the deepest ocean of this world, and the other who gave up their immortal form to cast said spell. This vessel is the descendant of the King of the ocean just outside your sea and the ancient caster. For generations, the blood has waited for the proper host, with the strongest magic. I tried to spare this one by using their predecessor, but they proved too attached to the land to transition properly, so I sent them back and now I have bonded to this body."

Lorelai looked up with surprise and a bit of a blush. "Oh, my... Prince Luke, we've only known each other a few minutes. To speak of betrothal so soon..." She looked down slightly, some of her hair covering her eyes. "...you barely even know me, know what kind of girl I am." Her voice had softened in a sad sort of way.

Indigo blushed when Alma explained that he wanted to marry him. He didn't move his hand away either. After a moment he leaned across the table and used his free hand to gently move his wings out of the way and kissed him gently blushing as he did. "I think maybe someday I want to marry you too."

"Oh. I thought the two you were talking about were our children." Aqua reached forward and gently touched his stomach. "Okay I will help you."

"There are many royals who marry long before they know each other. It will be good for our kingdoms. Think about it." Luke decided he would try to get his father to force it to happen.

Alma glanced up shyly as he felt his wings being moved. The kiss was so soft that it made him forget those worries and think about how soon could he have those lips against his again. "...I...am happy to hear that." His wings drew back a bit, returning to their previous position. "Sorry, I'm so nervous. You're the first person I've ever fallen for, much less, tried to date."

Weston shook his head, looking down at the hand touching his. "This one did not mean to take over your love. It is the blood, making us one. He will see memories not his own but mine. The knowledge of bygone years and the power to make a choice." He frowned. "I will do my best on my end, at least until the birthing day. But he must rise up to his destiny or fate is doomed to repeat itself."

"Father told us stories about that." Lorelai admitted. "He tried his best to protect us until we were old enough to choose for ourselves." She smiled up at Luke. "I will think about it, Prince Luke. Not many want a princess my age anymore."

"Its okay. I'm nervous too. You are also the first person I have dated. But I am so happy that we are dating. I hope I can continue to make you happy." Indigo smiled.

Aqua sighed and sat back on the bed. "So I may never get Weston back?"

"I don't have any problem with your age." Luke smiled to her and stopped on front of her door. "Please think about it."

Alma relaxed a bit, hearing that Indigo felt the same as him. He smiled back, getting absorbed with the other's eyes when the bowl of chilled fruit was delivered.

"Oh, hey! Berries!" His blush didn't go away, but he wasn't nervous about it any longer. "We have blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, grapes, and more here!"

Weston looked back out at the ocean view. We...may not. The spell is a pretty powerful one. That's why I vame to you now, to tell you to enjoy this potentially final year together. I am already dead myself, a phantom living on to guide my descendants. So I can't say to know how this will turn out."

Lorelai nodded her head, casting her eyes down. "I will, Prince Luke." She detached herself from him and gave him a courteous bow. "Thank you for escorting me back to my room. May we meet up again soon." She then entered her room, making sure to close her door in a way to make sure it looked like she was trying to stretch out how long she saw him.

Once the door clicked shut, she leaned against it, deliberately sliding to the floor with a happy sigh.

Indigo smiled and looked over the fruit. "I've never seen any of this. What should I try first?" He smiled to Alma getting an idea. "Pick one for me." He closed his eyes and opened his mouth.

"You mean only year." Aqua said bitterly. He didn't want to lose his love.

Rain and Weston were in her room waiting for her return to see how everything went. Seeing her sighing happily though was the last thing they expected and left them speechless.

Alma froze at the unintentional display. Or maybe it was purposeful. Either way, it made him give pause and gape in silence for a moment. "Uh...um... Then...a...strawberry." The angel grabbed it and held it to the Indigo's lips. "Our largest berry, pairs with almost anything not meat or fish. Can be eaten alone or...paired with any number of human sweets."

Weston looked back at Aqua upon hearing the bitterness in his voice. Feeling bad, he walked over and sat down next to the Mer-Prince. "We are aware that there is nothing we can do to appease how you feel. This is not idea to us, either. But I recognize whose child you are. You resemble your father so much. He may have the thing lost long ago."

He looked up at the ceiling. "When you two go back, tell him, 'King Poseidon wants what he lent him back.' He'll know what I gave him."

Lorelai blinked at the look on Rain and Kubo's faces. Frowning, she held up a finger to her lips and gave a listen to the door before acting her wards once more. "Okay, he's gone." She stood up and fluffed her hair up a bit. "I may have done my part a bit too well." She smirked, tilting her chin to the side a bit. "He wants me to consider marriage...with him."

When he felt the strawberry he took a bite and let out a little moan at how good it tasted. He opened his eyes smiling. "Human sweets? Like a kiss?" He licked the juice from his lips. He only a small idea of what he was doing. But upon seeing Alma'd face he blushed deeply.

Aqua sighed and nodded. "Okay I will do as such." Even if he was being told Weston was still here and may have a year left with this other being there too it didn't feel like it and it felt like his live was already dead.

"I don't really want to take away from your moment but, there is a chance he is just trying to advance his position. He would be a prince then." Kubo explained.

Alma tilted his head. "Like a...what? Oh, the chocolate from the mainland? Yes." He was distracted upon seeing Indigo enjoy the fruit. It made him smile. "Glad to see you're enjoying them. Our berries always have a great effect on those tasting them for the first time."

He reached into the bowl, this time holding up a blueberry. "Let's have you try...another."

Weston gave a small smile. "I am a stranger to you, this I know. Worry not. Your Weston is still here. Though, he is quite mad at me for interrupting. He did want to push you down." He chuckled. "I can go away, if you want. Again, I'm just a phantom. I don't have to be here. I just..." He lowered his hands to his stomach. "I don't like leaving my vessel's family in the dark. And you two...were building a family."

Lorelai shrugged as she went over to her dresser, taking her hair down. "Don't you think I- Eh-hem. I am quite away of the possibility. What I am trying to get at, though, is that he's going to want to keep me close. He doesn't perceive me as a threat, but just another pawn upon a board." She smiled. "He's going to do what he can to keep me 'charmed' and considerate of him." She rolled her eyes. "Honestly, this is why women are better. When they scheme, it's a right puzzle."

"I guess there is a language barrier here. A kiss is that thing where our lips touched before." Indigo smiled and opened his mouth again to let him feed him again. This time he kept his eyes open to watch Alma.

"I would like for him to be able to do that." Aqua smiled a little. "Please let Weston come back out. But thank you for explaining."

Rain laughed a little. "I'm surprised Kubo even got that idea though. He never questioned that I might have been trying to improve my standing by dating him. I'm sure you have this under control. But let us know if you need us for anything."

Alma inhaled sharply at the clarification. "Oh...uh... Sorry. I was still thinking in the context of food." He smiled. "Kissing you is sweet." He felt a bit embarrassed, knowing the other could see him.

Weston nodded his head. "Alright, then you shall have him." The glow faded from his eyes as Weston shook his head. "I...I am...me?" He looked at Aqua. "Aqua...? What...what did he do? Did anything happen to you?"

Lorelai giggled. "It's fine. Though, while appreciative, I'm gonna have to ask you to keep away. It has to look like to everyone that I'm just a 'tourist'." She explained, putting her hair back into a long braid. "Maybe one or both of you can show disapproval once it gets out that I've been spending time with Luke."

"Does it help if I close my eyes?" Indigo smiled and did so. He didn't know why he was in such a teasing mood but, he was definitely loving Alma's reactions. Maybe if he wasn't so absorbed in the other and remembered they were in public and wouldn't be so flirty.

"No nothing happened to me." Aqua kissed him lovingly. "And I am glad you are yourself again."

"Yeah I think we can do that." Rain nodded. "I just want to make sure you don't get to far in and end up getting hurt because of us."
