Wavepelt looked at Serpent, a his eyes bright with happiness. He heard what Galestar said and looked back at him with a sigh. "Well, you're leader, I thought we would be alike, since we're both loners. But I guess Serpent's a lot different from me". He looked at his paws, I'm just a loner who got here no longer then a couple moons ago. I doubt I'm trusted by even half of the clan still, let alone trusted enough to have an apprentice.

Wavepelt couldn't hold back a grin as Serpent tried to say something. He sighed "uh Serpent, would you mind saying that a little clearer? It's kind of heard to understand you, which means we won't know who can train you".

 M a p l e l e a f "Stand up for what you believe in; otherwise, you will be trampled on by those who don't."____________________________________ [Mapleleaf's pelt prickled. She gulped, then dipped her head bashfully, before apdded forward and veering off to the side, down a steep slope and through a maze of boulders. She finally led Embergaze to a beautiful ridge, where they could see all of BreezeClan's territory. Mapleleaf purred when the wind buffeted her fur, letting her ears be swept back.]
"Th-this is my favorite spot. No one knows of it except myself, Cloverpaw, and you, now. I come here whenever something;s wrong, or I have to escape the camp. Here, I can forget everything, and just watch the territory and everything that goes on in it." Turning so she was looking Embergaze in the eye, she continued. "Please don't show this to anyone. This ridge is very special to me, and very hard to find, and though you can see everything, no else can see you. This place is very special to me, so please don't reveal it to anyone else..." Mapleleaf requested, pleading in her luminous green eyes as she eyed the ground and then looked back up at the tom. ____________________________________________

☼  ●  ● ☼ ❧  ♨----------------------- [Galestar nodded, purring.]
"Very well then."
[He paded up to the Highbranch and looked out to the Clan.]
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highbranch for a clan meeting!" he yowled.
Blinking, he said, "We have a newcomer, Serpent, this day, whose story is similar to mine. She has never seen anything like the Clans before, and is very new, but I sense great potential in her. We will welcome her into the clan.
Before I get to that, I must announce that I have assessed Duspaw's progress, and she has impressed me beyond what I could have expected. Duskpaw, please step forward."
[Duskpaw stepped forward proudly, gazing up at Galestar.]
"I, Galestar, leader of BreezeClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in her turn. Duskpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Duskpaw meoed confidently, " I do."
Galestar said cheerfully, "Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. Duskpaw, form this moment you will be known as Duskfire. StarClan honors your bravery and your intellegence, and we welcome you as a full warrior of BreezeClan."
[Galestar rested his muzzle on the top of Duskfire's head and Duskfire licked his shoulder in respect. The rest of the Clan chanted "Duskfire!" When the cheers had died down, Galestar cleared his throat.]
"And, now, I will accept Serpent into BreezeClan. This may be the first time in a long time that a leader has promoted his apprentice to a warrior and accepted a new apprentice back to back!" he exclaimed amusedly.
"Anyway, Serpent, please step forward."
[Galestar watched as Serpent jumped up to the Highbranch, glancing around shyly.]
"From this day forward, until she has earned her warrior name, this apprentice will be called Serpentpaw. I will take her under my wing and teach her the ways of the Clan, and StarClan willing she will prove to be a noble warrior."
Galestar bent down and whispered, "We have to touch noses now."
[Galestar and Serpentpaw touched noses. Galestar nodded to Serpentpaw happily.]

 "To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze stared over the large beautiful expanse with astonished eyes. His fiery orange gaze tinted gold in the sunlight, and he looked down excitedly, the wind blowing his fluffy mane around.
It was breathtaking.]
"I would never tell anyone..." Embergaze murmured, eyes sweeping the landscape. "I understand the need to be alone...especially when something terrible happens..."
[Embergaze remembered Smokefoot, the infected elder he had to kill, and cringed in agony.]
Relaxing a little, he said, "Thank you for showing me this. I promise I won't tell."
[As he watched the landscape, he felt a sort of warmth flowing through him. He wasn't sure what it was, but he narrowed his eyes slightly, enjoying the feeling.
He still felt shy, but he found himself a little more comfortable around Mapleleaf now.
Which was amazing, for him. Especially since she was a female.]

__________________[Serpent had never seen so many eyes on her sense she was kitnaped by the 2 legs who would stare and mutter strange things (something about money?) Serpent was not used to standing out of the safty of the shadows, she wanted to dissapear, or run but didnt, she wanted to impress Wavepelt and her new teacher and stood (shaking slightly) She attempted to distract herself by thinking of something else.]Serpentpaw hu, kinda a funny name... maybe snakes here have paws? [She was in a complete daze imagining mutant snakes waklking around with fuzzy cat paws.] hmmm

M a p l e l e a f "Stand up for what you believe in; otherwise, you will be trampled on by those who don't."____________________________________ [Mapleleaf' purred in gratitude, then gazed into his eyes but looked away, eyeing the ground, embarrassed. She stepped down, but immediately found herself then slipping over the ridge, clawing her way bacj up, yet couldn't get a good grip. She cringed and fought her way up, almost there, when the stones gave way and she lost the grip on one paw, hanging over the edge with one paw deep into the ground above. She swung herself around, her claws digging further into the siol as she struggled to regain her footing on the ridge, yet her back paws were still working furiously to get a good grip. She felt herself sliding backwards, then glanced down as a horrified expression filled her eyes at the sight of the fall. If she fell, she would surely join StarClan. Desperation and determination filled her green eyes as she struggled with all the strength she had to clamber back on the slope, only to find herself falling backwards again.]
"Help!" she yowled, her claws sunk into the earth and her back paws trying to propel her upward.
((Nyar, that got confussled... Basically she's hanging over the edge of the cliff. xD))____________________________________________

"To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze stared in horror as Mapleleaf fell. As she cried for help, he shook himself out of his trance, shattering his fear, and craned his neck over the edge.
As he stared down at the long fall, he felt his stomach drop.
If Mapleleaf fell, she would surely die!
He hesitated no longer.
He reached over her neck, sinking his jaws into the flap of skin which all kits were carried by their mothers. If he bit there, she would feel less pain from his sharp fangs.
He pulled back with all his might, neck muscles bulging. Surprisingly, Mapleleaf was a lot lighter than he realized. Or maybe he was too strong. Either way, he pulled too hard, and he tumbled backwards, Mapleleaf still in his jaws.
They lay sprawled out on the ground, a tangle of legs and fur. He coughed, her pelt tickling his nostrils.]

She hauled herself up again, shaking the dirt, stones, and dead leaves from her pelt, then licked her chest fur self-consciously.]
"Th-thank you, Embergaze. I-I should've been watching where I was going. Sorry about that," Mapleleaf mewed quietly, her voice thick with embarrassment.
[She glanced over her shoulder, thanking StarClan that she hadn't destroyed the whole ridge, only a small corner. She let out a shaky breath, then her legs buckled and shefell to the ground once again, the adrenaline leaving her body as she lay there, exhausted.] ____________________________________________

"That was terrifying," he said, rather amusedly. He glanced over at the edge, nodding. "Don't worry. You're pretty light, so the edge was probably able to support you more...thank StarClan..."
[He muttered to himself, not realizing he had complimented her.]
Turning back to her with a worried glance, he said, "Do you need any help?"

 Spadekit "Perfection is impossible. Loyalty is not." ♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤✖♤[Spadekit felt a pang of guilt as she saw Pepperpaw pad across the clearing, looking miserable. She felt a burning wish to go and comfort him, but patiently waited until Iceears was done treating her stumpy fluff of a tail. She sighed, her pelt itching a little, until Iceears mewed that she was finished. Instantly, Spadekit got up. She gave a quick thank-you mew to the medicine cat before padding out and taking a seat next to Pepperpaw. As she was about to prod him, her mouth already opening up to speak to the tom, Galestar pounced up onto the Highbranch. She brought her paw away, and smiled, pleased at Duskfire's success in becoming a true warrior.] "Duskfire! Duskfire!" [She called loudly, along with the distant voices of others. She could see Duskfire beaming.] She must be so proud! [She paused, letting the ceremony sink in, including the newly-named Serpentpaw, before turning back to Pepperpaw.] "Judging by the look on your face, i assume things didn't go very well with Joypaw?"

"No, I'm fine. I just needed to catch my breath, that's all. Again, thank you. I'm glad I didn't come out here alone..." Mapleleaf murmured, her eyes narrowing worriedly at the thought of her out there, alone.
[Mapleleaf padded over to him, sitting next to him and brushed her tail lightly down his flank, in a gesture of thanks. She gazed out on the moors, her eyes glowing as the wind buffeted her fur.] ____________________________________________
