luceil thinks hard for a moment... will i like what ye say... no, he says shaking his head... i won't or ye wouldn't have said that... ye can be scary... but yer not mean... and ye are fair... so i'm guessing it is something i need to know... right... then tell me... i guess ye have to tell me...

Luciel...I am you...and you are me...A while back, a spell I was casting was intefered with by my apprentice, Rhea...Luna's mama...and it deaged Lyssan to a pup...I eventually was able to unravel the spell...but it turned on her again...so I chose to absorb it into myself...and it awakened my younger side...you...I eventually gave my body up to you, so you could live a normal life...but something twisted you inside...and my master realized that in order to have you live a normal life, I would have to be removed...and you would have to start completely over...I was born as Luciel...an Auricupric dragon...but my life was destroyed when our brother Emnast fell...and then murdered me...
So I decided that, when the time was right, I would leave and go back to the Void...and let creatures who cared about you as much as I did raise you...and give you a proper upbringing...a real childhood...I may have twisted when our dad offered...but Inwardly I leaped at the chance for you to grow up with Dragons...
That's why you have power over Void...that's why you eat so much...you'll never be a Voidmage...and what I said earlier was true...you're Voidtouched...more so than most...You're me...as a child...Luciel...you're the life I would have led had fate not intervened...

lyssan rubs his back soothingly... ye are as real as me left hind foot, luceil... trust me.. ye are very very real...... ye are the dragon he never got to be... yer having the childhood he never got to have... and yer body is the one he wore... did he even tell ye that his was the body that was recreated so he could free thee and allow ye to grow on yer own... if anyone's a memory it is he... though i do say he's a rather solid memory iffin ye ask me...
lyssan sighs and leads him to a nearby bench so she can sit down... it's been a rough few months and i'm feeling it, child of my heart.... she says sitting down and urging him to recline nearby... let's see... knowing him, he was rather abrupt... he is eloquent only when when he feels comfortable... and all this has left him bereft and confused... it wasn't an easy decision for him ye know... to give up his childhood memories to thee... they were precious to him... more valuable than all the gold in the world... and for a time he seemed content... watching ye grow...

do ye remember that voice that used to talk to ye, helping you out of tight places from time to time... well.. that was him... he was locked up deep inside ye and he couldn't get out, except when ye let him... at first he felt he could simply ride the spell out then he began to notice things... like the fact that ye were different than he... that ye were growing up, maturing... and becoming something he never was or had the chance to be... and the more ye grew the more he began to realize that when the spell did wear off ye'd be lost forever... and he and i both knew that simply could not be allowed to happen... ye are real, dear one... so very very real... and so was he... in the beginning all sorts of spells were attempted to set him free from ye, but over time we feared losing ye as well... so our thoughts flew to a way to save ye both... i could not bear the thought of losing ye and he has always been such a dear friend... i love the both of ye.... i could not lose ye, either of ye... so another path was sought... and a surrogate body was formed... a shell, so to speak, in which he could place his memories and thoughts... by then it was easy to divide ye... ye were no longer he and he was able to slip away without harming ye in any way...
do ye hate us so much for wanting ye to live?

Why'd he lie to me, though? He told me all these things...and he ever once could tell the truth?
