"Believe me when I say, if I could protect everyone I knew, I would jump at the chance. But I just can't do it," Alex shrugged. "Sometimes, it's something that can't be helped." His vision blurred as his eyes went blank a little, though he fought to control it. He fell to his knees, shaking a little, his eyes closed. though when he opened them again, they were blank once more.

For color every drop they hold; "Yeah, well--Alex?" Sin watched the boy fall to his knees, her eyes widening the slightest bit, at the blank look in his eyes. She quickly stood up, sighing a bit, as she backed away from him. What was she supposed to do? She couldn't harm Alex.To turn the lifeless whine of grief;

"It's a bit of a problem when he can't handle this. I'm better off destroying this body," he smirked, regaining himself a little quickly as he stood up. The two birds had flown at him, as though to attack, yet he quickly beat them away, the things disappearing as he called his necklace to him, the jewel of it glowing a creepy glow. Then Alex turned his attention to Sin, a strangely cold look in his eyes. "This time, there's no interruptions."

You stay under ground; rot and decay, and don't ever come back," Sin smirked at him, as she said this, glaring at him. She felt a hatred for him, she hadn't realized she had. Her eyes narrowed slightly, watching him, "And what are you going to do, if that body is disposed of? You'll just stay dead."To turn the lifeless whine of grief;

"I'm a demon by nature. And I kill for the fun of it. Being dead would kill my plans, though in a way, I am dead," he shrugged, turning the necklace into a sword. "Even if this body is disposed of, I won't care. It's not like I'm not going to destroy it, anyway." He disappeared from the spot, appearing behind the girl with the sword at her neck. "So, traitor. . .are you willing to attack? Or will you let me kill you peacefully? I promise to make it quick."

She slowly turned around, careful not to cut herself with the blade of the sword, "I really don't see a reason to kill me." "How would you, a living person, understand?" He felt himself collide with the tree, shaking just a little bit before pushing off the tree and striking again at the girl, appearing to miss by an inch.

And I'm not with the dead, and you obviously want to cling to life," Sin grinned at him, ignoring the pain from where the blade pretended to miss her. She never stumbled nor wavered in her stance. She grabbed his wrist, pulling him down to fall to the ground, ignoring the sword, "Your a persistent b*****d, you know that?"To turn the lifeless whine of grief;

He fell to the ground with a bit of a thud, shaking a little bit as the body felt the pain. "Persistent, maybe." Alex smirked, letting the sword disappear from his hand. "So maybe I want to cling to life. Or maybe, I'm just doing what I was set out to do. You'll never know what it's like to die, until you actually do."

"I'm a demon by nature. What do you think I was set out to do?" he asked, laughing a little bit. "Unlike you humans, I always had powers to begin with, and I knew full well how to use them." He wrenched his hands from her grip before getting up and calling the sword back to his hand, the thing starting to glow a deep purple, with a cool breeze blowing in the area. "I can use them right now, though I don't know what'll happen. Maybe you're friend will die. Or maybe he'll last a couple blasts. I'm not really sure, and nor do I care!" He slashed the weapon in the air, firing off a dark blade at Sin, a few cuts forming on his hand.

She transformed, shifting her sword in her hand, as she dodged the dark blade, disappearing from sight.
