I was in one of the slot rooms and some 12 year old found out my age (I'm not ashamed, I'll tell when asked).
She turned into such a brat, saying something like, "Gaia's fun, but not for old people."
First of all snot, I'm not old. Oh wow. I have a 2 as the first number in my age. I'm soooo old! Get my walker! No, I need a wheelchair! rolleyes
Secondly, you're too young to be on Gaia, according to the ToS.
Third, why do they always forget that Gaia's run by people who are all well above age 18, and that it's the 18 and older people who keep their beloved Internet running?

It wasn't a kid on Gaia, but along the same lines, I told my niece that I wasn't interested in having kids and she looked at me like I was a monster.
I think it's something they gets into their minds before they actually have minds of their own. That people go to school, go to college, get married, have kids, and then... you know... you start the next generation of Sims.

Jade- May I say that I feel your pain with the whole being made to feel old in one's twenties! What a crock. My fave is when people want to sell you lotions and crap that will "make you look ten years younger!" WTF... So I want to look thirteen? Perfect, I can attract *****! D; That's awful Taxi. I had something similar IRL when a customer at one of my jobs was in shock that I didn't have any children or a husband (I wasn't even 22 yet at the time). Right now I'm doing the classic old maid thing. Though I prefer to consider myself a spinster, it sounds more fun and more scandalous!

"I want a small family, maybe only six children." Of course, Amy's one of those odd ones that you can never quite tell when she's serious or not. xp And as long as I'm in the thread... gr8fulgrl u sure aint aktn lyk a Christian when u declind my friend request. We're a par tof the saym guild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah, I get fun ones like this all the time. I'm Crew in a Christian Guild, so half the people that join it assume that I am required to be on their friendslist, and in part, lovingly take all of their SPAM. In response to this, The Guild Captain has given me permission to be ruder in the Guild, as I am apparently far more amusing when I get like that. confused Oh, I have also been called a ***** because I'm too old to be posting on Gaia.

Spinster? As in someone who spins? I've never heard the term before..what does it mean?
My parents were both from families with 6+ children, all of whom reproduced excessively. None of my siblings are over 30 yet I'm already an aunt 4 times!
I've already tried the world hunger excuse, but that just gives her the idea that I'm not eatting enough, so I end up with a banquet for four hundred on my doorstep. She's one of those mum's that's not happy until everyone's fat and/or pregnant.

Havent had any dumb kid trouble just yet on Gaia, apart from reading the odd headline in "life issues" saying "OMG, he fingered me, am I preggers?"
But I like to play an MMORPG called Maple Story and some kid told me I was too old to be playing games... I was 19 at the time.
I tried to party with some 11 year olds, but they kept calling me a n00b and I was like "pssh, your a n00b at life!" and ignored them... then they started harassing me eek

It absolutly baffles me how some of the kids around here act. Some of them I honestly think that their parents just don't care what comes out of their mouths. *sigh*
Though nothing of late has come my way from anyone (thank GOD!) it never stops to amaze me what I over see while I'm quietly putting togetter a puzzle or two...
