*That second and third sentence, I don‘t think I wrote them correctly. I don’t think I wrote the last one correctly either, but I am more unsure about the other two.

と思いますは英語で何と言いますか。
’To omoimasu’ wa Eigo de nan to iimasu ka.

ok.... to omoimasu in english means "i think", to iimasu means "to say" but it also means "said" and "is called". when you use to iimasu, you use words ending with 'i' like *thinks...whats a good example??* like....samui...samui means cold. so using omoimasu with that, you dont add any particles...like wo, no etc. its just samui to omoimasu = i think its cold. when you use to iimasu its the same. you dont use any particles at all....just (whatever) to iimasu when you use iimasu as in something is called....its more of a relative clause...eg. Hobart no daigaku to iiu gakkou ni ikimasu. = i go to a school called hobart university. the iiu is the dictionary form of iimasu...it means the same thing but it is a grammar thing that you will pick up if you are learning at school. if you want to know more about it, then feel free to ask me smile i hope i have made it a lot clearer for you and not confused you again

Can't you also you 'doko' when asking about the name of a school?
I relate 'to iimasu' more to 'means' so I didn't see the connection there when you corrected me xD;.. I didn't think it would work with what I was trying to say.
I'm not learning in school xD;;.. For the most part, I've been teaching myself.

dark night of the souls UsagiDesu says:> Can't you also you 'doko' when asking about the name of a school? < doko means where...eg. gakkou wa doko desuka? meaning where is the school. Yes, I know but just like in English when you say "where do you go to school" it's referring to the name of the place and not the location。It works the same way, doesn't it?
Eg: Sharaku-san no daigaku wa doko desu ka
