I'm not a big fan of shota, incest, or rape. Anything without a moral or love bores me, usually. Especially if it doesn't have a good story. Really girly ukes are annoying, the really helpless, brainless, useless ones.. And then when the seme just rescues them and doesn't yell/scold (at) them for putting themselves in stupid situations. >_>;; And no one learns anything. <_<; I dislike it when things are too predictable. ninja

Hum, poorly drawn yaoi, and the stories that keep building the idea of a relationship but never go anywhere with it. They so piss me off. Just some sort of damn resolution between the two, I mean really, yes or no? Want him or don't? You can't leave it hanging like that! Why. Must. You. Taunt. Me. With. Your. Ambiguity?! Kiss him already! Kick his a**! Tell him you love/hate him, Whatever! Stop being so indecisive!!! *shakes manga hysterically only to be attacked with paper cuts*

annoying moaning xp in "my sexual harassment" i just wanted that damn guy to shut up!!! his moaning was the most annoying thing i have ever heard!!! he sounded like a dying cat!!!!

I hate it when the two main couple who you KNOW are going to get together dance around each other for forty thousand volumes. "I hate him! I love him! What was his name again!?"
Of course, it's natural when you find that you have developed a crush on somebody of the same gender that there would be some confusion. But when they have both admitted to themselves they love each other...
AND ANOTHER FORTY VOLUMES GO BY...
They're still not together.
FTW and WTF's all around.
Actually that annoys me with het couples too.

For-Chan Cookie What are your Pet Peeves in yaoi? Is it the way certain characters act? Is it certain fans? What are some of the things that really annoy you about yaoi/BL? Personally, I am not a fan of stories in which one partner is reluctant and forced sex is had, often repeatedly, until the characters fall in love. It's like some twisted sexual version of Stockholm's syndrome that I just can't get into. A lot of manga and fanfics seem to work this way and it just annoys the heck out of me. The last time I checked, there's a word for forcing someone into sex with you and it isn't pretty, nor is it the basis of love or any other healthy relationship. I also hate when certain people get a hold of a character and remove their spine, neuter them and turn them into a weeping pile of goo. The occasional weepy uke I can deal with. Having a strong male character reduced to a sad sobbing waste of space just pisses me off! Stop projecting yourself on characters! Rar! stare Yeah, so there's two of my pet peeves, tell me about some of yours 3nodding you pretty much summed what I hate about yaoi and BL other than the 'perfect' anime guys who think they're better than everyone else, strongest, smartest, ect.

I don't so much mind girly ukis cause there genuinely are guys out there like that (trust me ive met a few) but so long as its done realistically.
i HATE HATE HATE DESPISE fanfics! the characters are created that way for a reason and only, in my opinion, does the orriginal writer have a right to say whether so and so is gay or straight or whatever. what's more most of them are poorly written anyway.
i do kinda like the rape scenes but like someone already said but not when they walk away with no effect afterwards. i dont even mind if its a repeating rape turning into a love cause that does happen in real life, just so long as its kept realistic and that at first they hate it then they grow kinda numb and then they believe, key word: believe, they love them.
just a final one i hate is a lack of story. i dont care if theres not much action or even if there's a lot so long as theres more than the co-incidental meeting in the street, get drunk and go have sex stroyline
