Without further ado, he twirls her out onto the dance floor, easily falling into a simple waltz as the writer assumes that is the sort of music that is being played (writer does not actually know, help).
"It's been a while since we last talked. Anything new happening in your life?"

Starlight Princess Lucky [[I feel like River just had a dinglehopper moment XD]] Lucky giggled at the mermaid's enthusiasm. "I couldn't agree more." She paused for a moment as River examined the pocket square. It looked like this might be one of those things the young mermaid had not come across before. "It's a pocket square," Lucky explained. "Think of it as a handkerchief that is used for decoration instead. You can put it in a pocket if you have one, or I can make a bow out of it for you, if you want?"((Right? XD Poor, curious little mermaid.)) "A pocket square?" The mermaid echoed, tilting her head curiously. If the name of the object was supposed to ring any bells, it really only made her all the more curious. Luckily her friend was more than able to provide the curious mermaid with an answer. Blinking, she looked down at her dress - which hadn't any pockets - before nodding quickly. "A b-bow would be r-really pretty! Y-yes please!"

(I swear I didn't mean to vanish on you, work had me busy.) A giddy little laugh escaped her as she followed his lead into being twirled. Dancing was very much a favorite pass time for her, but it had been ages since last she had gotten the chance. Falling into a proper stance and hold on the dragon, a very pleased and somewhat blush tinged face looked up at him. "It has, I've missed you, Nef. I haven't been up to much, playing in ribbons as I'm apt to do." Dainty fingers played idly with his shirt collar before she continued on. "And what about you, been up to anything? I trust you haven't been without things of interest, right?" (Aw, no worries. I hope it wasn't too much going on. )

(Sorry for the no show in response until now. It was my brother's birthday yesterday, so we had dinner, then watched John Wick 2. I fell asleep right after. xD ) Judging by Cid's body language, she clearly started off things in the right direction. Well, right from her perspective. She wasn't sure about the Phantom just yet. A little more time and she will know. The white haired young woman faces her and gently grabs her dress from each side, slightly raising it in a curtsy. However, it was a bit awkward for her. This was the first time she has done it, so she was only basing it from watching Kate and her interaction at parties and dances. "It's nice to meet you, Cidri. My name is Clara," she spoke, looking back at the ghostly woman. "As for you, I know who you are, Phantom dear~"

(AUUUGH I NEED TO WATCH THE FIRST ONE STILL. I hope you had fun!...and you're invisible right now. O-O) The belled girl smiled up at Clara, the spark of her temper cooled after calming down. Though something seemed to be up with her conversation companion, the edge to her voice in going from the lightness during their game to this stern sounding tone...apparently something had put up Phantom's defenses. "Nice to meet you Clara," Cid replied with the same bow she had given to the Prince and the spirit. She cocked her head to the side as she straightened, "I guess...maybe she's heard tale about you Phantom?

Really good. As for the invisible thing, technically, I have a kin equipped in the background, but they don't show in guilds. SOOOOOOOOOO. xD )

As for the invisible thing, technically, I have a kin equipped in the background, but they don't show in guilds. SOOOOOOOOOO. xD ) (Waiting for a day that my fiance and I are both off of work so we can marathon them XD And that is a neat glitch XD)

 The woman slipped her fingers into Astraeus' hand and smiled a very faint, delicate smile, like the kind you would find on a porcelain doll or an antique painting. "Trying to compete with my memories? I shan't be easy, you know how romanticized the past can get." It was a gentle teasing, the likes of which he was probably used to by now. She followed him out to the middle of the floor just as the current song began to fade. Her height competed with his, though he was the obvious victor. However, her heels made them almost able to see each other perfectly eye-to-eye. "Although," she said in the brief silence, "You are working with a slight advantage, given the present is in the here and now." The music began anew, and the two waltzed across the glistening tiles. Her steps followed his in perfect sequence and rhythm, eyes never once leaving his face. It were as if this stranger before him was raised in a ballroom. The mystery of such precision was undermined only by a genuine sparkle in her eye. "You're awfully light on your feet." she remarked as they glided along to the band. "Even if you are covered in dust." She released his shoulder a moment, pulled his personal pocket square from his coat, and brushed a small puff of stardust off his uniform for him. As he led her in a spin the small cut of fabric fluttered between her fingers like an aerial ribbon. OOC: Get it? Dancing with the stars? Link pun. XD
