yanagi_kaori Erm...not really. I think I'm the only girl in school that likes it. Everybody else likes yuri...So, I'm on my way to corrupting them...kukukukuku... Not my school! A lot of my freinds watch Yaoi and Shounen-ai. Mostly because of me and my freind.

Anyways, I think that there are more guys than would admit it that like Yaoi; they just aren't as open about it as girls.

It's the whole taboo thing ('cause yaoi/yuri isn't widely accepted in this world) and because it's love between two people that is different than the usual het stuff. Variety is the spice of life, and all that...

Seijaku_Ishida Women often have a better time relating with the uke('female') of the relationship rather than an actual woman, who they see as a rival rather than as someone to relate to. That said, yaoi is an idealized depiction of a male/male relationship, which can turn off some(but not all) gay men to the genre. ^^ I prefer playing seme, to be honest. And I guess I would be considered a yaoi fan-girl, but not to a freakish extent. I can see where you guys are coming from though. It is kind of strange to have a fetish related to someone's lifestyle. It seems a little invasive. The thing is though that most fangirls don't mean any harm.

I find this strange as I believe we all like to watch things that make us feel good. If your a gay man and like boys what really is the difference if your watching or looking at the same thing that your basically doing? Why wouldnt a healthy gay man be into this?
