Roy then cracked a smile as he picked up his fork again "Yep, you basically answered everything...I can appreciate how you didn't beat around the bush" he stated before taking a few more large bites of his salad before finishing it long with his water. Roy then looked at Patrick with a pleasant smile "I'll finish the dishes, alright? Just bring the plate to me when you're done" it wasn't much, but Roy at least wanted to the dishes so Patrick didn't have to do them.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick was relieved by Roy's response, "Good" he said smiling. "If any other questions come to mind. Just ask away and I will give an honest response" he tells him. "Alright" he said to Roy doing the dishes. Hiro walks over to his water dish and some water. Patrick finishes his salad a moment later then drinks the rest of the water from his glass. He gets up and brought over his glass and plate and fork to Roy. ╚══════════════╝

Pouring some soap in the dishwater and scrubbing one of the plates Roy glanced over at Patrick "So how close do you think you are to owning your own shop?" he asked, remembering Patrick mentioning it the day they were at the Cafe for his...condition. If there was one thing Roy was able to do, it was remembering things from days ago like they just happened, a skill that proves useful for his scheduling.

╔══════════════╗ "I have the money and all that is left is finding a place to set up at" Patrick answered after thinking for a moment. He gets out Hiro's treats and gave one to the kitten. "Do you do the whole new year resolutions thing?" he asked thinking ahead towards the next year. He puts away any leftover salad and stored in the fridge. "If someone you know has a tattoo and its not visibly seen on the exposed parts of the body. Would you have been interested in seeing it?" he asked him. ╚══════════════╝

He then scratched the side of his head in thought "Well I can't say I have, usually because I couldn't think of a resolution to stick to..." Roy explained, thinking about the many new years that past. He then shrugged his shoulders as he stuck his hands in his pockets for a moment "Sure, why not...tattoo's are neat....as long as it's in anywhere...intimate..." he stated with a shrug.

The one of the things he would most likely fear is the lack of customers yet not so busy to be crowded. "Did you not have any to do the resolutions with?" he asked him. "Intimate would make it awkward unless you're drunk" he said and pleased about what Roy thought of tattoos. "Neck and back count as appropiate areas?" he asked him. ╚══════════════╝

I'll make sure I'm the first one in the store!" Roy stated with a smile as he motioned for Patrick to follow him, wanting to relax a little on the couch in the living room. As he made his way to the living room he shook his head "Nope, just like Christmas I sit in my apartment and watch the ball drop by myself..." he explained as he finally made it to the living room. He then nodded his head "Anywhere not in the brief area is fine in my opinion...." he stated before glancing at Patrick "You have some tattoo's I'm assuming? Let's see them" Roy said with a smile as he turned to look at him.

╔══════════════╗ "Great!" Patrick gave him a quick hug then complies to the motion to follow him to the living room. "That is probably what I normally do since it would be crowded outdoors" he said to Roy's explanation. He laughs some, "Sounds like that would be very painful" he said laughing again. Nods, "Yes, but its just one tattoo" he said. Turns and moves the hair on the back of his neck with one hand to reveal the tattoo. ╚══════════════╝

He then got a little bit closer to Patrick to get a better look at the tattoo and smiled "It's simple but really neat looking!" he stated as he leaned against the back of the couch "It's much cooler than my....." it was at that moment that Roy's mouth snapped shut as his face flared slightly at the memory of his little mistake on his lower back.

"Cooler than what?" he asked him. "You don't have to show and tell too if you don't want to" he said not wanting to talk him into anything he doesn't want to do despite being curious about it. "I do have another living room besides this one" he tells him in an attempt to change the topic of the conversation. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$792.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy shook his head, waving his hand "It's um...It's fine!" he stated, forcing the red to leave from his face "I also have a tattoo, It's not ugly or um.... anything but in my drunken state....I wish I'd um... gotten it in a different spot...is all" Roy explained as he turned around, figuring it was only fair to show his tattoo "Don't laugh...." he stated before lifting his shirt a bit, revealing the tatoo on his lower back, right above his pants line. "I went out drinking with my fellow officers one night awhile ago...I didn't know what getting a tattoo in that spot meant at the time...." Roy explained where it came from, shaking his head at the memory.

He moves a little closer after the tattoo was revealed and looks at it. "Cute in a cartoonish kind of way" commented. He runs a fingertip along the outline of the puppy. "I've noticed a pattern. Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$792.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy quickly calmed down once Patrick promised not to laugh and nodded his head at his comment "I remember asking for a cute puppy and that's about it..." he explained as he felt Patrick run his finger on the tattoo, feeling surprisingly comfortable with the close proximity. Once Patrick made his comment and moved back Roy lowered his shirt and nodded his head with a sheepish smile "Yeah....I love puppies, the floppy ears just kill me..." he said, rubbing the back of his head with a small smile.

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$792.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy nodded his head at Patrick's question "Yeah, I had twist my body a bit to see it in my bathroom mirror but I've seen it" he explained with a small smile before sitting down on the couch with Patrick "Trust me I've gone past that pet shop so many times, and each time I've resisted the urge to go in and buy the first puppy I see!" Roy said with a silly grin on his face at the thought of the little puppies that he saw in the window.
