  [ ~~+~~+~~+~~+~~+Charlene+~~+~~+~~+~~+~~ ]
Charlene pushed open the doors that led into the second district from the
first. The district was full of lights and shops, but now that it had gotten |darker, there were very few people still out.
Charlene and Akashisen walked in the direction of the gizmo shop.

><><><><><>Akashisen<><><><><><  Akashisen looks around, holding her keyblade with both hands, alert and cautious. This is gonna be her first time actually using her keyblade. She notices that there aren't as much people here, unlike the first district. There's something that's been going around in her head though. What is a heartless? She's never encountered one before so she has no intel about her enemy. She wants to ask Charlene but doesn't want to make herself sound like an idiot.
So, she just stays next to Charlene, hoping that when they engage in battle, Charlene will help her when she needs it. ~8~8~8~8~8~Miao~8~8~8~8~8~  Miao watches them from a distance, being as sneaky as a cat. "Where are these two going...?" she whispers to herself. To her, this really looks like suspicious behavior. "That glasses girl better not be up to somethin" she says. She doesn't notice however that there is almost no people walking around. She's too focused on following the girls to wherever they're going.
She eventually gets close enough to hear their conversation, however, it is faint."Let's see what you're up to meow..." she whispers.

[ ~~+~~+~~+~~+~~+Charlene+~~+~~+~~+~~+~~ ]
Charlene had her back to Akashisen, her hand were at her waist. She flicked
her wrist to summon her key blade. "Alright, keep your wits about you." They
continued walking until they were just about halfway to the gizmo shop.
Charlene had hoped there would have been more heartless around.
Just as she thought that maybe it was a bad night to go heartless hunting, a
small group of shadows appeared near them from behind.

><><><><><>Akashisen<><><><><>< Akashisen looks at Charlene, noticing that she seems troubled. However, she thinks maybe that these heartless creatures aren't going to appear, and maybe that's why Charlene is troubled. "Maybe they don't feel like appearing tonight?" she asks in a kind of relieved way, since she's nervous about battling. Saying this, she too doesn't notice the shadows that are right behind them. She then stops, looking at something that catches her attention. Two bright yellow dots in the shadow. She wonders what they are and starts to approach them, wandering from Charlene.
As she wanders from Charlene, most of the shadows who were following aim their attention to Akashisen since she now seems like the most vulnerable. As she approaches the two yellow dots, they start moving. She stops, and takes a few steps back, not noticing the heartless that surrounds her from behind. She then realizes, these yellow dots are the eyes of what she now knows, is a heartless.~8~8~8~8~8~Miao~8~8~8~8~8~  Miao notices the danger that the two girls are in. She starts to panic, not knowing whether to help them or let them meet their fate. "What do I do neow!? I don't know if she's the one I need to protect or not!" she says to herself, hesitating to help or stay hidden.
She thinks that helping them would make her feel like some kind of hero, but then again, she wouldn't want to risk her life if it involves rescuing someone that's not involved in her mission. In her confusion, she only watches as the heartless get closer and closer to the two girls, uncertain to help them or not.

[ ~~+~~+~~+~~+~~+Charlene+~~+~~+~~+~~+~~ ]
A gray and green blur boomeranged past Akashisen and struck the heartless
sequentially from left to right. By the time Charlene's key blade had returned
to her hand most of the shadows that had tried to ambush them had been
killed off.
Charlene had a somewhat disappointed look on her face. "Man... just a
bunch of shadows..." She was just throwing her key blade at anything that
hid in the shadows at that point, but suddenly, she noted some pink eyes in
the distance.

><><><><><>Akashisen<><><><><>< Akashisen falls to her knees with a blank face, confused for a sec. She didn't know what just happened, but the heartless that was about to attack her from the shadows was now gone, thanks to Charlene. She sighs of relief and looks at Charlene, "She's better than I thought" she thinks to herself. She gets up and looks around to see if any other heartless are around.
No more are around, yet. She turns to Charlene and bows her head to her, "Th-Thanks for saving me" she says. Then she looks at Charlene's keyblade, "I wonder if I can make my keyblade do something like that..." she thinks to herself. Then she looked down at her keyblade and gripped it. "I have to fight too though, I can't always rely on allies..I'll be a bother for them." she says in her mind.~8~8~8~8~8~Miao~8~8~8~8~8~  Miao is surprised by the glasses girl's skills, her ears perking up. "Wow, that girl is really strong...I'd hate to be one of those shadow guys" she says to herself. She then notices that the girl in glasses may have seen her. "Oh crap...did she see me" she says, hiding a little more but still being able to see them.
She waits to see what the glasses girl will do. If the glasses girl attacks, then she will have to defend herself. She prepares herself for conflict, just in case.

A little annoyed at the small amount of heartless around, she sighed, and
turned back to Akashisen. "I guess tonight seems like its a perfect night to
just walk around, sorry about that." She laughed. She looked at her watch,
"Hey, do you have anywhere to stay tonight?" She asked, not wanting to
leave her out in the cold.

><><><><><>Akashisen<><><><><>< Now that she thinks about it, no, she has nowhere to stay and call home, she doesn't even know where home is. Thinking about this, she starts to get depressed, looking down to the ground. She shakes her head no, not saying a word. She looks back up and notices something behind Charlene. Not something, rather, a whole lot of things. She sees another group of heartless, just, they're not the small ones this time...some wear some kind helmet and have claws, and some are big and round.
"Wha..." is all she can say, looking at these 'new' heartless she's introduced to. "Ch-Charlene..have you faced..these kinds of heartless before..?" she says nervously, holding up her keyblade, getting ready to fight. As she says this, some small heartless start to appear too.~8~8~8~8~8~Miao~8~8~8~8~8~  Miao looks at the big round heartless and the helmet wearing heartless, sticking her head out from hiding. "Wow, these guys look more of a challenge, especially the fatties meow.." she says to herself. While she's watching, a single small heartless appears in front of her. "What the-! Hey, outta the way! I'm trying to watch...them" she says, noticing more heartless around her.
"Oh no, I've been found.." she says, getting ready to defend herself.

"Uh..." Charlene looked around; they had been surrounded. She held up
her key blade back in her fighting stance. "You take the small ones on the
right, I'll take the fat ones on the left." She ran towards the large heartless
and swerved behind them striking quickly. Charlene's moved seemed a little
slow, as she was also keeping an eye out on Akashisen.

><><><><><>Akashisen<><><><><>< Akashisen focuses her attention on the small heartless, holding her keyblade with both hands in front of her. "All right, stay focused." she tells herself. One of them jumps at her, but she dodges it, hitting it with her keyblade and destroying it. Another jumps at her, and she barely dodges it, hesitating for a bit, but hits and destroys the heartless. "That was close..I gotta keep my focus more straight" she thinks to herself.
This time three of them attack her at once. She blocks their combined attack with her keyblade, but she is throwed back, getting knocked down on her butt with her hood coming off her head. "Ngh, damn it." she says, as she gets up. However, right as she gets up, one of them jumps onto her back and clings onto her. "Ah, h-hey, get off!" she yells at it. Distracted by the heartless on her back, the other two jumps at her from the front. ~8~8~8~8~8~Miao~8~8~8~8~8~ While the girls are in their own battle, Miao is having a conflict of her own. A heartless jumps at her, but she kicks it, sending it flying and into a wall which destroys it. "All right meow! Who's next?" she says, taunting the rest of the heartless. They all attack her at the same time, but she spins kick them, flying them some distance from her. Some were destroyed by that kick, while the rest got back up and charged at Miao. "Grrr, come on, just go away already!" she says to them. The heartless attack her, but she dodges them and punches or kicks them, destroying them.
"All right, finally, now let's see how the girls are doing." she says, turning back to view the girls. She notices that the hoodie girl no longer has her hood on, and can see her face better now. She takes a closer look at her eyes..."Th-They're red! She's the girl that I have to protect!" she says in a happy tone. Now that she's confirmed that this girl is the one she's supposed to protect, she finally reveals herself and helps out with their battle.

Charlene hooks one of the big heartless to her key blade and had swung it
around throwing off some of the other ones that had been surrounding her.
Having given herself more room, she saw Akashisen struggling, she jabbed
her key blade into the ground and began running towards her while moving
her arms in an almost dance like manner, "Stop!"
She yelled, and a magic circle surrounded Akashisen, immobilizing the
heartless.

><><><><><>Akashisen<><><><><>< Akashisen notices that the heartless that was about to attack her were frozen in mid-air, inches away from slashing her. She takes this chance to throw off the heartless that was clinging onto her back. She hits it with her keyblade and destroys it. She then turns her attention to the heartless frozen in mid-air by Charlene. She hits both of the heartless with her keyblade, flying them away.
She pants a little before composing herself. She looks at Charlene and nods, thanking her. "Thanks again.." she says, then she feels a quick pain on her side. She holds the area where she's hurt and then looks at her hand, seeing blood. "Ngh...ow" she says, the heartless clinging to her must've dug it's claws into her.~8~8~8~8~8~Miao~8~8~8~8~8~ Miao sees the heartless that Akashisen flew are flying towards her. She chuckles a little and jumps towards them, kicking them to one of the helmet wearing heartless. The ones she kicked were killed, but the helmet wearing one gets back up. "Wow, you're a toughy aren't nya?" she says. She looks at Akashisen and Charlene. "Hey you two, I'm here to help nya. Well, if you don't mind." she says to them in a happy tone.
She then notices that the helmet wearing heartless starts running towards her. She charges the heartless and kicks it, sending it flying to one of the big round heartless. However, it just bounces off of the big heartless' belly and onto the ground.

Miao's appearance startled Charlene, she summoned her key blade back
into her hand and threw it at her. It missed her head by just a few inches.
She jumped back and took a spell casting stance. "Who are you?"

><><><><><>Akashisen<><><><><>< Akashisen looks at the new girl while holding her side. She hides her wound as to not cause distress. She looks at Charlene and then back at the girl. "U-Unless you don't to get hurt, it's best you answer quickly.." she says, knowing what Charlene can do.
She also keeps an eye on the heartless who are still dazed by Charlene's assault on them.~8~8~8~8~8~Miao~8~8~8~8~8~ Miao quickly puts her hands in the air. "W-Wait, I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, m-my name is Miao and I was sent here to protect her!" she says, pointing to Akashisen. "Th-That's my only reason of being here, I swear meow!" she says, her arms still in the air.
"A-And if I was a threat, I'd be helping the shadow guys, not you!" she says, throwing a tantrum.

Charlene shoots several rapid firs shots at the remaining heartless that had
managed to survive. Charlene's key blade had flung back to her hand, "Who
sent you?" She asked calmly, but said it while pointing her blade at Miao.
