As Zakir wiggled his way out of the Grapple, David took one five-foot step backwards, away from him.

"Enough's enough. Let it go!"  

[InsaneKatKing]

"Then enough of your attitude," Zakir snaps at him, rolling his neck and shoulders as though he had done nothing more than just punched something. "We don't have time to deal with a pompous idiot. We need to get moving, else our objective will be unaccomplishable." Holding up his hands, he approaches David slowly, leaning in to whisper to him, "I'm not going to pretend i know anything about what you're saying, but I am going to make sure that you at least survive here while you work out your problems. There is more to this than you think. For now, just stick with me and try not to get yourself killed. Is that alright?"

"Fair enough." David replied, "But like I said, there's something off about all this. I think that there's more at work here than just village work; I'm not sure what it's for yet."

"I'll explain on the way," Zakir responds to David, motioning for him to move along before they get too far behind. "Come on, let's get going. We've got a big job ahead of us," he says to the others still remaining behind.

Rei walked next to Zakir "You sure taught him a lesson he wont soon forget" Rei said with a smile "Ashu ema" she said as she used the words of nutturing to heal zakir

""Lesson" nothing." David said, adrenaline still coursing through his veins, "That was an even, clean fight. We're moving past it, and so should you."

David smoothed out the wrinkles in his leather jacket.

"Like he said, we've got a job to do."

"He needed some sense knocked into him," Zakir answers, bowing in respect for the words Rei had given him. "Hopefully, it won't be too much trouble convincing others to really listen when spoken to."

Rie smiled "I always listen to those who give good advice"

"If I had any sense, I wouldn't have pressed the issue and wound up here in the first place." David said, "Now, let's make a deal. I'll shut up, but in exchange, you'll need to accept that I'm an ADHD, loudmouthed freak of nature taken up to eleven, and make the most of that situation. One weak link ******** up the whole chain."

Zakir had no real idea as to what anything David was saying. "Your manner of speech is strange here. Take time to learn how we speak and try to copy that. You'll find yourself in a lot less trouble when you do," he says before turning off and walking along, "And I won;t have to make up excuses about your lunacy if you learn to speak our tongue properly."

"I'm from the Southern USA." David said, "It's an accent. I'm sure people and whatever else in these parts have an accent, too. Mine just happens to use more slang. Also, USA means United States of America, in case you're wondering."
