or the explorer one Dion mentioned. That one is, learn an extra language of your choice, add nature to your class skill list, and you get +2 bonus to nature checks

Ziekara Also, I notice some of you have not given yourselves background bonuses yet. Keep in mind that you are able to select two of your choice (that fit your character of course), so don't forget to do that....unless you don't want to for some reason. eek Ziekara Backgrounds: Character backgrounds preferred. I will try and work your history into the story if I can. Also, as an incentive, you will be given up to two background bonuses (as prescribed by WoTC) based on the story you give me, OR with my permission you may pick up to 2 of your own, so long as your story explains why you have them. I thought YOU were deciding which bonuses we get eek So we decide, then?

Snuff that Muffin so, would I add these associated skills to my trained skills list? or do i just get the +2 bonus Each option gives you a list of skills. You can either add them to your class skill list before choosing your trained skills, OR get a +2 bonus to one of them. You can get a total of two such bonuses, no matter how many backgrounds you take. For instance, Murder Nun has Urban (History, Streetwise), Blessed Birth (Insight, Religion), and Ward of the Temple (Heal, Religion). I just added a +2 to her Religion and +2 to her Insight. Those are my two bonuses that the DM allotted.

I recommended looking through the PDF I posted, that has allot that will give you trained skills or abilities of some kind.

Snuff that Muffin so okay, lets see if i get this I can add those as trained skills, or get +2s in 1... do those stack with my class's trained skills? or do they replace them? Rangers have a skill list of the following skills: Acrobatics, Athletics, Dungeoneering, Endurance, Heal, Nature, Perception, and Stealth. With those backgrounds, you can choose two more to add to that list, BEFORE you choose your trained skills for 1st level. Ultimately, look at it as either training in a skill you really want (+5 bonus), or further focus in a skill you already have trained (+2 bonus on top of the training you already received).

Even though the DM prefers point-buy? neutral EDIT: Also, what? 6d6, drop the lowest 3? What standards have YOU been smoking? Page 18, Rolling Scores: 4d6, drop the lowest, 6 times.

gonk The third time that has happened... I leave and forget to save or the character sheet glitches and erases half of the page... I promise I will have my character up by tonight, though I might be away this weekend. I don't know yet, but there is talk that people are going to need my help.
