Link drifted in and out of consciousness. At one point, he could hear what sounded like a thousand voices wailing shrilly as the sound of burbling water assaulted his sensitive ears. Then he could feel the long grass brushing roughly past his closed eyelids. The ground smelled damp and slightly musky, and it clogged up his nostrils. His nose was continually bumping against the pebbled ground, effectively giving him a slightly bruised snout. Not that he was aware of the fact he even had a snout to begin with. At one point, he could hear what sounded like a chain clinking against itself, and a murmuring of harsh voices. With a half-asleep sigh, he finally drifted off into a light, restless sleep.

"Good, you're still alive. Quickly, tell me what transpired...Here..."
Eidolon's form swiveled away from the formerly incapacitated and now scared witless cat to face a new voice. The voice of the Imp he had seen tailing those other creatures not too long ago. She had come back, it had seemed, though the same could not be said for the gray cat he had seen chasing them as well.
"Twilight Realm? Is that where we are? No, no...This is Hyrule. Then why am I an animal? I will not follow you blindly, Imp, especially seeing as you are an interloper from another realm! What has happened here? Why have I been transformed? Are you talking about that grey wolf those creatures abducted? He did not look like a hero, much less the Hero of Time..."
Eidolon was understandably skeptical. Most would be if confronted with a similar situation.

"Look, I have no idea what had happened either... One moment a nice man is getting help for me and the next thing I know I'm a CAT!" He waved his paws about frantically. "Speaking of which, where is that guy?" Coremean looked around, and saw no sign of the man that had tried to help him earlier.

As the shrill mews and barks and caws of the animals grew louder, Midna couldn't hear herself think. "Listen!" she shrieked. "Ganondorf walks the land again because a traitor of my kind helped him. They are on their way to Hyrule Castle right now. In order to move about freely, he has covered the land in Twilight, which allows my people to move about in physical form. Unfortunately for you humans, you lose your physical bodies and most of you become spirits. Some of you transform into animals. You'll remain that way until the Twilight is vanquished. Now, I'm going to Hyrule Castle. If you want, you can help, because it will certainly get you back your bodies a lot faster!" Without another word, Midna rushed into the forest, following the path of Twilight.
The gate smashed open. Zant watched as the castle seethed with Twilight. He waltzed in.
Princess Zelda blinked. One moment, she was speaking with the guards, the next they were gone. She looked up in shock as Zant entered the throne room. "Princess," he said suavely. "I have returned from the Twilight Realm to reclaim the world that was once ours. You have a choice: Surrender... or die." Zelda sighed. Zant was flanked by fierce-looking Twilight creatures that could seriously injure or possibly kill her. She remembered, years ago, how the graceful Midna had said she was looking for someone, someone depicted on an ancient ruin. Perhaps she would find him. She nodded, turned, and walked up to the tower.

Drat! He was a Cobra, none but other animals could comprehend his speech now! The Imp seemed to realize their confusion and explained adequately, but Eidolon could not help but continue to harbor feelings of distrust and caution. Then again, it was not as if he had very much to go on. The sooner he returned to his physical form, the better.
"Wait! How do we vanquish the-...Right, Cobra. Can't understand me."
Eidolon gave an angry hiss before snaking through the grass at speeds previously unknown to him after the Imp. If there was any way to figure this out, it would probably become known to Eidolon by following this Imp...Or Midna, as she called herself.

Viktor saw the gray wolf get carried off but stopped as he knew he would be outnumbered. He then looked at Midna and sat beside her as she talked to the other animals in a commanding tone.

((Seriously, guys? Seriously? I come back and there's like 5 new pages that I have to edit? You guys are barrels of fun. Jenny, could change Midna's color to something else? Something that bright isn't too fun to read.))
Rayne twitched, then slowly regained consciousness. Everything seemed bigger than he last remembered. He stood up, then let out a large whine when he realized what happened, or at least part of what happened. For some reason, he was fox now. He didn't understand why, or even how, but he decided he would try to make something out of it. He scurried to the spring with only a little bit of trouble. By the time he arrived, Rayne was already pretty well adjusted to his new body. "Nice, I'm not the only who was transformed."

(Sorry, I wasn't sure if I should do red or cyan because I thought red was more Ganondorf. I didn't want to do black, so I went with the color of her tattoos. And sorry about the pages- 53 and I bullet-posted for 3 pages until 4 in the morning.)
"Ow!" Midna hit a tree for the third time. "Stupid nature!" She noticed a snake behind her, and of course the human in wolf form who'd offered her the apple. Before long, she shot out of the Ordon Woods into Hyrule Field. With mixed feelings of glee and shock, she saw there was a direct path to Hyrule Castle, tented in Twilight. She needed to find an entrance to the dungeon... Or I can just phase through, she realized.
(That better?)

Coremen gasped as the imp and cobra left. "Wait! What about me?" Despite being in a new form, the knife wound was still there. He knew that even in this form, he wouldn't be able to keep up with them. He looked around and saw a fox. Looking at the fox's eyes, he recognized something. The man that almost looted him and left him to die! "Hey mister!"

Rayne watched the cobra, the wolf and the imp leave. He could see that the cat want to go with them, or at leas that's the way it looked. "Oh, hey. Looks like we got some catching up to do." Rayne answered, then clamped his jaws at the scruff of the cat's neck and lifted him up the way a mother cat would lift her kitten. It was a good thing foxes were bigger than cats, otherwise the action would be more difficult. He dashed to catch up with the other animals, though he was slightly slowed by the weight in his mouth.

Viktor saw the path of Twilight towards the Hyrule Castle. He barked and bounded towards it.
Ganondorf heard a little bark and turned around to see a figure running towards the two. Thinking it was Link he charged towards the figure with a squeal.
((yeah that's fine))

Curled up into a ball, Coremean felt surprised, and a little guilty. If he was in his human form, doing this would hurt so much, and the fact that he was a burden made him feel really bad. He gingerly touched the already closing wound with his paw. I hope this heals soon, thought Coremean as everyone raced onward.

All of this slithering nonsense was beginning to get on Eidolon's nerves. He was a golem, gifted with the powers of enchantment and telekinesis, as well as incredible strength and endurance! Now here he was slithering along the ground, a metallic statue-esque version of a Cobra. He could not slither all the way from Ordon to Castle Town. It would take too long, he would fall behind and become lost if he someone didn't carry him. Though none would likely do that...Willingly.
There was a second grey wolf behind him, running like the wind. It would not be long before he passed Eidolon. However...
As Viktor approached Eidolon and prepared to pass him, Eidolon suddenly veered into his path. However, instead of tripping the Wolf when he collided with his right front leg, he latched around it. This way, Viktor would carry him to Hyrule and Eidolon would not have to worry about it in the slightest. Ego inflated by his plan, Eidolon gave Viktor some words of encouragement.
"Onward, hound! Time is of the essence if we are to save this land from whatever has plagued it!"

Midna saw the boar. The wolf-boy was running straight towards it. "Get out of the way, dummy!" she shouted, plowing into the wolf, pushing him away from Ganondorf at the last second.

Viktor looked down too see Eidolon wrap around his leg. He then felt hands on his body and looked to see Midna pushing him away. His eyes wide as he saw the boar continue his rampage.
Ganondorf saw Midna push the supposed Link out of the way and he knew it was too late for him to stop, since he was so close to hitting 'Link'. He sadly ran into Midna and trampled her.
Anger filled Viktor's dog form in an instant. When Ganondorf was over her he immediately ran and slid beside her, gently nudging her with his snout and letting out a sad, worried whine. "I'm the cause of this..." he thought.
