Link smiled, brushing the dust off his hands. His work in the stables was done, all that was needed to do was divide up the food. He decided to help the others with that, and began making his way down the hill of the ranch.
"So you are from the Goddesses' Royal Grounds then, dear 'Watcher?' You can be of help to us?" A hopeful glint appeared in Teagan's eye.

Brooke had heard what Destral asked her, and was a bit shocked that she forgot to mention that the fruits could be mixed. "Oh! Yes, you can make a really nice fruit salad if you mix them. I guess I forgot to add that part in." Embarrased, Brooke was slightly laughing at this. She looked around in the kitchen a little more, and came across lettuce, squash, and other foods like that. "Oh! Here are the vegetables. They're really healthy for you, as everyone says. I have to admit, they're not all that bad." She said smiling. "And you can mix these up with each other, and other foods, too."

Jesse wandered the village, pleased with her findings. She had spoken with several people, introducing herself as a friend to Teagan and Link, and saying that they were about to head on a quest to recover someone who had been kidnapped.

Of course she had done so in such a dramatic and stunning fashion, she had won many of the village children's hearts, and so they followed her, skipping along to a cheerful little ditty Jesse made up on the spot.

"Sing, sing, keep the spirits up!
Sing, sing, keep the livelihood going!
Sing, sing, little ones, sing
And awaken from your stupor!
Dance among the yellow birds
As they soar above the clouds.
Seeing that im-ma-gin-ation can take us there,
Why do we-eee delay?
Don't you tell me we're stuck down here
When there are birds up in the sky!
Sing, sing, keep the spirits up!
Sing, sing, keep the livelihood going!
Sing, sing, little ones, sing
And awaken from your stupor!"

It was quite obvious that she was back in a perky mood, as she let a little girl ride on her shoulders, holding Jesse's packed quiver of arrows. Jesse carried in her hands a few more arrows and two knives (keeping them away from the children as best as possible, lest they harm themselves) a very joyful smile on her face. She spotted Teagan standing just under the village sign and shooed away the children and putting the little girl into her brother's waiting arms, retrieving her quiver as well as putting the knives in a pouch. She waved goodbye as she skipped over to Teagan and the stranger, still singing the chorus of the song the last time. As the last note hovered in the air, she grinned, closing her eyes for multiple seconds. They snapped open, revealing big brown eyes with a mischievous glimmer to them.

"Well hello there, good sir! Teagan!"

"We're you just with... Oh nevermind it." Teagan laughed. "Any luck?"
Link saw the small group in the distance and waved to them, running over to Jesse, Teagan, and the mysterious newcomer. "Who's this?" Link asked.
"This is... Erm... Watcher? Is that actually your name, sir?" She cocked her head to one side, green eyes staring at the hooded figure.

The being bowed, then offered his hand, one arm behind his back in gentlemen-form.

"I am the 'Watcher', I have seen all until recently, where I left my post as I sought to no longer be a bystander and make my mark in history. I am sure to be of help, I have witnessed everything since my creation, little after the Goddesses came to be. But...you may refer to me as Lucifer."

There was something eerie to the name 'Lucifer' to Teagan. Eerie name, eerie man. The fact he knew about Tarin was baffling. He was six when he died! He'd barely traveled outside the village, how could an outsider know? Even though she felt somewhat uneasy around him, she put on a smile regardless. "Lucifer." She tested the word. "Got it. Welcome to Ordon, Lucifer." Placing the basket in the grass, she extended a hand out for him to shake.
Link folded his arms, staring at this 'Lucifer' skeptically. "Then elaborate. Help us. Tell me why this," he took Teagan's hand and held it up at him, "is on her hand."

Lucifer pointed to the symbol, obviously studying it from under his hood.

"That, that is one of the reasons I came here. I've been quite curious about those, they didn't show up like this until recently. You see, I believe it is called a Sub-force, much more broken down and specific versions of the Tri-force. The rest, well, I'm still trying to make sure is true. Origin is all theories, their power and purpose hypothesizes more theories. But, it is for sure...light. Shaming, revealing, fluctuating light... I guess you should be honored to be chosen, though you had more chance then Link did with his Tri-force. Have you seen Destral? I believe he is around here somewhere..."

"A Subforce..." Link pondered, then all the gears and cogs began to fit together in his head. "Teagan, if it's a broken down version of the Triforce... Look at your hand. See how part of Wisdom is highlighted?"
"I have part of Wisdom, then?" Teagan studied the gleaming tattoo. "I think I get it!"
"Exactly! My question is though, where did these come from?" Link looked at Lucifer. "Thank you for the help, sir. And Destral? Why do you ask?"

Jesse grinned at Lucifer. "Glad to meet ya, sir, Mister Lucifer!" She hummed a short song as she looked around eager to be exploring, curiosity (and the Sub-force, although she didn't quite know that) drove her. She took the glove off her hand for a minute. Jesse stared at her hand then hopped over to Link and grinned.

"Then I have a part of Courage! Gee, isn't that fun?"

"You are so happy! Oh my goodness, you just make my day." Teagan giggled, watching Jesse and her bubbly self.
Link stared at Jesse's hand. "Indeed you do... Hm. I'm still dumbfounded at the fact all of us met like this."
Click.
"Goddesses... Link! I realized something. If each triforce piece is divided into three more triforce pieces, there's nine new pieces. This means there's five more people out there with a Subforce."

"That makes sense, actually..."

Destral nodded, looking at all the vegetables.
"Umm...do they all taste good, or do certain mixtures just, uh, don't go well with the taste buds?"
He looked to Brooke again, obviously curious.

"Yes, that is why I sense so many different sources. I knew you had a good head on your shoulders...but, you see, Destral and I...have a bit of history. He may not know me very well, but of course I know him. I just hope he heard the right things. Shall we go see him?"
PostPosted: Fri Oct 22, 2010 9:38 pm

"Please define 'history.'" Teagan frowned, placing the bucket on the ground and putting her hands on her hips. Are they best friends? Enemies? Best frenemies?
"We can see him. He's around here getting food."

"I shall elaborate once I see him. Let us go. Please, after the fine lady."

He gestured for Teagan to take the lead, but he did it to Link as well, though he chuckled, shook his head and moved before Link.

"Well, to be honest, I really hat the onions period. And I don't like lettuce too much either, and I definitely wouldn't try to mix squash with beans!" Brooke shuddered, remembering once when her brother had made that dish for her a while back. "But other than that, you should like vegetables, though many people hate them," She continued. "But everyone has their own opinions, right?" She turned to Destral, smiling as she asked the question.

Teagan giggled and linked arms with a grumbling Link. "Don't let him get you down, you're a pretty girl!"
He slipped out of her arm. "C'mon, fine lady, lead the way." Link joked.
Catching him by surprise, she shoved him into a berry bush and cackled, skipping ahead.

"Well, we're here." Teagan put her hands on her hips, standing in front of Robert's house. "Dunno if he's here or not, but it's worth a shot." She opened the door to see Brooke and Destral discussing food, rather than gathering it. She rolled her eyes. "Hey guys. What'd you find while we were gone?"
