Moni woke up sleepily and yawned, heading outside and forgetting to pluck the feathers off of his clothes and hair.

Fryma chuckled when he woke and saw him. "It's almost dawn. You woke up a little later than usual, didn't you, Feathery?"

Moni blinked at the name, then his eyes widened when he realized that he was still covered in goose feathers.. He blushed and ran back inside, picking all of the feathers off, embarrassed.

Fryma chuckled and kissed him when he came back out. "It's okay, you know. They fall off during the day anyway."

Moni blinked to clear himself of the shock from the momentary surge of the forest, smiling some. he still blushed though and checked himself for any more feathers.

"Would you like to visit your mother today? You didn't get a chance to yesterday." Fryma smiled kindly as they sat down to watch the sun rise.

Moni nodded and smiled, hugging him happily at the idea. He did miss his mom, and she'd no doubt heard about the jaguar rescue, and was probably worried sick about him again.

As soon as the sun had risen and they had eaten, Fryma walked with Moni to the small cottage on the edge of the woods. He bowed politely to Kina. "Good morning, ma'am."

Moni smiled and hugged her, and Kina hugged back. "You did a god thing yesterday." She told him, kissing his forehead. "I'm very proud of you for helping that cub."

Fryma sat and watched Moni and Kina talk about yesterday and catch up. It was so strange; he'd only met the boy three days ago, but it didn't feel like two days. It felt like a life time.

Moni smiled and hugged her, and she brought breakfast out, knowing how Fryma didn't like being out of the forest any more than he had to be. Moni smiled as they ate in the forest.

Fryma smiled and thanked Kani. "I can see where Moni gets his kindness and sweetness from, Ms. Kani." He couldn't begin to describe how delighted he was that she had been so willing to eat in the forest.

Moni blushed at that, smiling as his mother laughed. "I try my hardest. Of course, he's a sweet boy by nature too." She said, ruffling his hair. Moni smiled and hugged her.

Fryma chuckled. "You've done an excellent job, ma'am." He wrapped an arm around Moni in a one-armed embrace.
