oh i forgot to warn ye... i had to infuse it with troll blood i'm afraid... wasn't enough to animate him left when kero washed the decks... he's a bit of a regenerator...

gekko climbs unsteadily to his feet... "now you shouldn't have done that.... nope you shouldn't have" he drawled with a terrible aussie accent.....
from a distance the captain's voice could be heard muttering away... " now was that troll blood or wrym saliva... maybe it was wyvern toxin.... aaa... doesn't matter... i don't think he'll go schizoid on them... at least i hope he doesn't

mmm...midnight snack.
I'd say I do learn, sucker of a Vice-Captain.

I just finished your story. Excellently written and interesting plot.
And as to the magic thing, I've been reading Fantasy since I was very young. Elemental magic is obviously my specialty,but I also have studied legendary creatures (as you probably guessed from that crazy list I asked you to get yesterday).
You still need the quill of a manticore, a Caladrius feather, and an Amphisbaena fang, BTW.
