"Oh, we were just traveling this way and decided to stay at the Abbey for a bit, and besides, rumor has it there's a feast tonight," Demetra said with a laugh.
Missy looked at Willow skeptically. "Champion at something or other, huh? Well done. If you need help getting your blade down, just ask," she stated coldly before following Maya towards the orchard.

Demetra watched her two companions walk toward the orchard and shakes her head. "Those two honestly don't seem to like being away from trees for too long," she muttered to herself before walking towards the kitchens.
Maya sat under a tree and watched the Dibbuns playing with a small smile.

((Yesh, this would only end in poor Willow getting in the contest and busting herself... or me trying to make it alternate universe cannibal Redwallers... sweatdrop I say skip))
Golden rays of sunlight streamed down on Redwallers, each one waking to do chores or just to appreciate the dawn. Willow, however, was not so glad to see daylight. She lay stretched along a branch, glaring moodily at the sky, till tired from the festivities. She rolled up, making sure to carefully smooth her tail and tunic, pausing momentarily to look at the empty sheath in her belt.
"Ah, I have to go get that..." she muttered, dropping carefully from the tree. Willow glanced upward at the sun again. These conditions would make for good tracking, she thought, walking across the lawns to the abbey. If I know Redwallers, they'll probably want me back... She paused and thought of the previous night. Okay, they probably want a beast like me out of here. but that Panos chap, 'e might come after me, and try convince me to live a static life o' peace. She shivered, and quietly entered the abbey.
While it was early morning and some where about, fast had not yet been broken, so she picked her way quietly through the empty Great Hall, pausing to re-find her knife. Right... there. Willow confirmed, seeing it glitter. Then she realzed how high it was. "Gawd! I'm no Matthias..." she gasped, but set her jaw and began to climb anyway.

Panos woke up drearily from his comfortable bed in the cozy dorm. He wasn't very hungry, for he had tried to participate in the food eating contest, but failed miserably compared to all of the hares in the Abbey (including the young leverets). He silently took off the covers and put his paws into the slippers placed by his bed by one of the abbeymaids.
Panos opened the door, sure to make a peep. It was just after sunrise and he didn't want to wake anybeast.
He walked down the hard stone floors to Great Hall. He saw Willow climbing up toward the rafters.
"Willow?" he asked, almost in a whisper. "What are you doing all the way up there?" Then it hit him. She's trying to leave without even saying goodbye! he thought.

Armel walked into great hall seeing Willow climbing the wall to get her knife she wondered what she was doing.

Willow glanced down at her companions all watching her climb. She started, and thought, Oh dear. Then she saw the floor, so far away. She grimaced, but continued upward steadily, thinking, I'm a squirrel! Yeh'd think I'd like heights...

Willow finished the wall and crossed the rafters with a few nervous hops and tugged her knife free. "Gettin' my knife down, as you can see..." She waved the colorful blade at him. "Though I suppose I'll have to hide it somewhere else for the time being." She unbuckled her sheath, stuck the knife in, and slid it under her tunic. "Now... about getting down." Willow mused. She slowly made her way back to the wall and began to scale it again, being extremely careful. When she finally touched the floor, she breathed a sigh of relief.
