Constance was surprised by the defense the girl put up. She reached up and touched the barrier, running her hand along it gently. The girl's magic sparked and tingled against her palms and she smiled. The barrier was weak, but stronger than she would have expected. She could break it easily but that was no way to encourage trust, Little one, I'm not going to hurt you. I am a friend of Tobias', he's the wolf you're riding now. I'm going to take the pain away. She used her mind voice this time instead of speaking outloud, Please let me help you?

She eyed him worriedly but then hurried out of the alley way. She was gone for long minutes but Nikolai would become aware of laughing voices and Sor appeared, tucked under the shoulder of a rather robust looking young man. He was leering down at Sora, who was flirting shamelessly, "I'll be eternally grateful if you help me out with him. I think he had too much to drink." She was saying. She stopped by Nikolai, "Nik, this is Justin, he's agreed to help you out with your little...problem." She'd notice in her periphery that Justin looked at her oddly when made the statement oddly but Nikolai would be the only one to understand the true meaning of her words.

Nikolai huffed out an impatient breath as he waited for Sora to return. Sliding down the wall until he was sitting, barely, on the asphalt. Before too long, Nikolai could hear laughter, one of the voices easily recognized as Sora. Listening as she giggled, flirting with no hint of bashfulness with the young man that she had most likely chosen with her own preference. At the mention of 'too many drinks', Nikolai easily took on the role.

After so many.. performances, like this one, Nikolai seemed to be a pro at acting the drunken character. Standing up with an unsteady wobble, he steadied his body with a touch to the ground, staggering over to the man. "Thanks buddy," he said with a dumbfounded smile and a slur, "I really.. Appreciate it." Stumbling over nothing, he collided with the man, easily being held up by a strong arm. "Don't mention it," the guy said awkwardly, looking over to Sora, "Your friend really did have too much to drink." Before he could say anymore, he had gone unconscious, thanks to a little trick Constance had shown Nikolai for a faster way to feed when he wasn't comfortable with playing with his meal, which was most of the time.

Easily, he held the heavy, young man's body up, giving a dark look and a frown to Sora, most likely prodding her to look away, before he bit into the warm flesh of the guy's neck. Finishing up, he sat the man down against the building, feeling much, much better after having a little to drink. Of course, he hadn't sucked the man dry, leaving him with his life as he liked to do with most of his victims. "Maybe when he wakes up you should ask him on a date? He seemed to be attracted to you," he smirked out of her sight as he looked down at the guy.

She looked away, giving Nikolai some privacy then turned back when she noticed scuffling noises and saw the man slumped against the wall, Nikolai not looking so peeked. Sora snorted at what he said, "honey, everyone is attacted to me." In fact, Nikolai, was the only male to date that hadn't drooled over her appearance like some kind of moron. She supposed she wouldn't have minded, Nikolai wasn't so bad himself, but it had made her notice him right off the bat. She flipped her hair behind her shoulder derisively, "Screw with his memory or whatever and let's move onto the next one." She waved dismissively at the unconcious Justin.

Constance smiled to herself at the girl's caution, Thank you. Now then let's see what I can do for you....She settled her hand on the back of the girl's neck and allowed warmth and healing energy to enter her small body. It washed away the pain and ache and closed some of the smaller cuts but did not heal her completely. Constance wanted a closer look at the big injuries. Once she was finished she removed her hand, "Feeling better?" She asked this aloud.

Nikolai rolled his eyes at Sora's response; the cocky attitude was just one of her many attributes, and not exactly Nikolai's favorite one. He couldn't deny her the fact that she was attractive, because she was, but he would never give her such a compliment, it would just be adding fuel to the fire. Anyways, he'd seen many beautiful girls that had either matched or overcome Sora's attractiveness, which brought him back to the fact that he was old enough to be the girl's grandfather. With that thought he stood up, closing the lids over his eyes which now shone a bit of gray around the still dilated pupils.

What Nikolai didn't understand, was how she planned to get him to like her. Someone so forward to brag about the people who swooned about her wasn't exactly attractive to him. Of course, he had the similar experience, pretty much everyday; remembering the so-called group of "bubble-headed" girls, not to mention Sora, who wouldn't even let him leave.

Letting go of his thoughts, he looked down at the man's body, "I don't screw with people's mind's, unlike some people," he said with obvious direction towards Sora, "With the blood loss it would be very hard to remember what happened to him." Finally turning, he started to walk out of the alleyway, "Let's go," he said, not turning back to see if she was following him. He wasn't in the mood to sit in a dirty alleyway for much longer.

"Helpless?" Nikolai repeated, "If I didn't get out of that party, it would've been someone else who would've been helpless," he muttered, sighing when Sora said that helpless men were a bore, wondering if she'd ever give up. He didn't answer her question, but as they kept walking, they were nearing a club, obviously easy to pick out of the buildings since the music was a sickening pounding racket. Of course, to his distaste, he knew that Sora would enjoy it. "There you go," he said, motioning to the door with his hand. He had no intentions of going inside.

In a flurry of activity, Tobias dropped the girl off at Haven, bypassing the party that was still in fullswing, and into Merlin's room. She had Alester run a bath with mineral salts to help clean out the wounds. Then all the males left leaving Letty, Constance, and their guest Kesai, "I'm going to put you in some warm bath water, alright? But you cannot go in clothed. Do you understand?"

Sora grinned secretly when he came back to push her inside. She slipped her hand into his then started, "Oh!" Though her exclamation was lost in the loud music. She reached into her clothes, fiddling for a moment before she held up two small objects to Nikolai. At his puzzled expression she gestured to her ears then gave him a thumbs up and winked.
