"Right," Alex said quietly, thankful that Aiko wasn't questioning farther; it definitely wasn't a small thing to him, but why involve others in a personal thing? It didn't make sense to him, so he avoided that. He tensed up in the slightest, a small, burning pain shooting through him once again; how nice. Then again, it was a miracle he was ignoring it so well.

"It's kinda true you're not such a good liar. But I'm not here to torture you. I'm here to see how you're doing, and I'm hyper so I had to drag Hirsohi over there out of the house." Aiko looked over at Hiroshi who was pretty much just staring at the wall.

Alex couldn't help but feel a little sorry for Hiroshi. Getting dragged around most of the time must be a hassle or something. "Well, like I said earlier, I'm alright for the most part. And don't go killing Hiroshi with your hyperness. I doubt Yukiko would be happy about that."

Aiko went over and poked at Hiroshi, then saw him blink and look up. "I won't. He just had to get out of the house for a while. And there's nothing to do."

"And. . .the hospital does?" Alex wouldn't question her opinion or anything, but to him, the hospital was probably the most boring place. "Damn, this place is annoying. Though I do admit this place is important," he sighed, folding his arms and thinking a bit; just how was he supposed to get rid of something that Daniel couldn't?

"...No. But you're a pretty interesting person." She shrugged. "Either way it's out of the house, so we really don't have to go any where."

"Okay, now I feel used," Alex replied, just barely surprised. Not that he cared, really. "I just hate sitting still. What's worse, there's nothing to do here! Can't wait to leave!" He looked down at the small form of Button, stared for a second, the gently nudged the pup awake. Button stirred before lifting his head up, then stood up, walked two steps, and sat snuggled up as close as possible to the man.

"Well sorry, but I wouldn't say I was using you. You don't even really have to listen to me talk." She looked at Hiroshi. "He sure doesn't." Aiko looked around the room. It was so... boring. And it looked plain. That's not something she would want to look at while being hospitalized. Who would?

"True, I don't. But I done think being rude is any better," Alex shrugged. He carefully pet Button's head, the little dog looking like he could care less about everything. "Maybe later I'll sneak out again. Either that or see if Sylvia will let me leave once-in-a-while. . ."

"A doctor letting you out once in a while? I suppose it's possible, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too high." She glanced around again. "It's so boring in here. They should re-paint or something at least." Aiko looked out the window.

"Sylvia's alright. She might let me, though it's a small chance," Alex said as he shrugged. Honestly, he was more worried about Anthony. "Coming from someone who's been coming here for about 12 years, I agree. This place is long overdue for a change."

Aiko stared at the celing for a little while. "Staring at a wall looks like the most exciting thing to do here." She glanced over at him. Hiroshi was oddly quiet. Usually he'd be complaning like a five-year-old about how boring it was.

"Why don't I trade places with you and you can see if that's true," Alex said, half jokingly; he wouldn't wish this place on anyone, Dairen included. Hiroshi was being way too quiet for his own good. Then again, he couldn't remember the last time the guy even spoke! "Hey, how're things outside, anyway? Kind of makes me feel bad for staying put here while everyone's out and trying to get rid of Sendoran." Button lifted his small head up and looked first at Aiko, then at Alex. Then, the pup finally stood up and stepped to the side of the bed, where he jumped down and shook his fur before padding up to Aiko and looking up at her while he sat obediently in his bizarre position with his right back leg sticking out to the side.

"Things are fine. I haven't seen anything going on, but surprisingly, I miss a lot of things." Aiko looked down at Button and looked at the leg sticking out. "Hey, Dakota sits like that sometimes. But usually when she's hugry." She croughed down a little and tried to softly pet to dog.

"Really? Huh, that's kind of weird. I only found this guy when I snuck out the first time. Little guy ended up knocking me over," Alex explained, folding his arms as he watched the pair. Button flinched a tiny bit before he gently muzzled against Aiko's hand, then licked it.
