"I'm fine," Alex whispered, rolling over onto his side and holding onto a portion of the bedsheets tightly. He could see everything just fine, if a little blurry. Yet at the same time, another scene was playing in the back of his head; another part of Daniel's life. . .or was it his memory? He didn't know. He didn't know anymore! "<********. . ." He shut his eyes, a little tightly but carefully concentrated, his wings sprouting out of his back as he wrapped them around himself, the things providing at least a little comfort.

Shin watched the boy, partly in awe of the wings that suddenly appeared, partly worried as he watched lex curl up on himself, trying to block out whatever was messing with him. "Heh, yeah your so not fine" all he could do was sit there and watch, talking right now, would not help lex any.
He was starting to wonder if maybe he should call yuri in, just so she could be with him and comfort him, poor guy. Shin running his hand over alexs shoulders letting the blue glow run over him, occasionaly 'just becasue they felt so cool!' touching lexs wings. He couldnt stop the headaches but he could try right?

Alex tried so very hard to block out the scene, a part of him relaxing just a little as he felt the warm blue glow.
Daniel was laying on the ground in what looked like a thick set of blankets, a small child cuddled in his arms.
No! I don't want to see this!
The man buried his face in the child's back, wincing just a little; this burning sensation was getting really annoying and painful, Chi wouldn't let him get up because of it!
Leave me alone! Get out of my life!
"My life's gonna end soon. I should probably tell Toya and Chi about-"
I don't know you! I don't want to know you!
"-nah. I'll save it. Until I really have to. They'll be freaked out if-"
"Dammit, just get out of my life!" Alex didn't know when he'd said it out loud, but as soon as he did, everything stopped; the pain, the ringing. . .they just vanished.

After the small conversation between Sasha, Yukiko and him he sat by the window staring outside again. "Maybe they're right, I should watch out. But how can I do nothing because of my limitations?" He sighed. "Hey, is it safe for me to go to the hospital?" he asked.

Shin flinched at alexs words, wondering for a moment if the guy were shouting at him or at himself? "Um, kay then...someones lost it" giving alex a slightly confused look, running his hand along the boys wings once more as he sighed "So should I be worried enough to get the others now...."

"Er... Well, maybe. Then again after that thing at the mall and considering the fact they're not the only ones maybe not so much. I could go too since I was supposed to go about three days ago for a 'check-up' I guess is what they call it." Yukiko tilted her head down and Kai tumbled into her lap.

Alex gritted his teeth together; he knew he must've sounded crazy. Hell, maybe he was! Carefully, he got up and sat on the edge of the bed, letting his wings vanish. Then he looked at his open hands, which he was trying so hard to control the shaking of. "Did I ever mention how much I really hate the living dead? All they do is torment people." He closed his hands tightly, trying to control the rest of his body from shaking. "I think I'm going crazy. . .no, I'm sure I'm going crazy."

"Nope you didnt, but then again weve never dealt with zombies much.." wondering vaguely if he should shove lex back down onto the bed, nah thatd be a bad idea.. Lex was almost starting to scare him, not the talking to himself thing but the freaked out shaking bit.
Lex sounding scared? Showing it, that was scary, just because it almost never happened. "Mmm, I dont think your going crazy lex...just think your not excepting this whole...reincarnation thing..blech even that word is freaky" shin shaking his head as he watched the boys wings vanish, messing with the boys long hair now.
"I wanna know whats going through your head with this whole..daniel thing, but im not gonna ask kay?" he said with a small shrug.

"I really don't know anymore. Everything's so jumbled up." Alex took in a deep breath and let it out as a sigh, trying his best to calm himself down. Yet sometimes, he just couldn't help but cave into his fears. "Maybe I don't accept. Heh, it's weird. I say I'm fine, yet I don't think I am."

"Wai wha? Did lex just admit something! Damn..this is serious..." "Ah, yeah it is kinda weird, but its your thing...stubborn brat..I think I remember telling you that bottling stuff up would kill you" shaking his head a little, well atleast alex admitted something was wrong right? That was a start..
"I think, that if you did accept it, it would go alot easier..then again I dont really know...mmm..stupid nija chick. Feh, shoulda just chased her off" glancing from alex to the door and back. "mmm definetly gonna have to tell yuri to be extra sweet to you" he couldnt help but smile a little bit, yuri would know how to take care of lex, maybe ease off all that fear of his. Hed never liked her much, but for that reason alone, being able to deal with lex, he loved her. Yuri may not have been much of a fighter but she was still a tough person, and that made her likeable.

"I know it kills me! But. . .old habits die hard. No one taught me any better." Alex ran a hand through his hair, feeling a little better, but only a little. "I think I'd have been better off not knowing. Miki's definitely crazy. And the next thing you know, we have an eight year old trying to take over the world with a little doll that does who-cares-what!" he purposely fell back onto the bed, shutting his eyes for a minute before opening them again. "Stupid life. Needs to slow down or return to normal. Although first, I should probably learn what normal actually is."
"Hmm. . .I'm gonna go bug Shin. Maybe Alex, if he's awake," Yuri said, smiling a little as Ai disappeared and she stood up. Without waiting, she headed on over to the main bedroom, gently knocking on the door as she saw the two boys on the bed.

"Mkay sir highstrung, now your scaring me..an eight year old? Shesh no wonder your stressed..heh atleast it lets me know you have an imagination" he said laughing as alex fell back onto the bed. "Ill make you a deal, after this whole thing is over, ill show you what normal is kay? Only because I know ro would get frustrated trying to teach you" shin smiled turning his head as he heard the light knock on the door.
"Heh, praise the women, its some sanity" messing with alexs hair again before he slid off the bed waving a little to yuri "Hey, hes all yours kay yuri, our poor lex needs lotsa love" snickering a little bit as he slid by her back out towards the living room where lance and the others were.

"Eh? Ah, hey, wait a sec!" Alex quickly sat up from the bed, though Shin had already left. Letting out a small sigh, he guessed he should be happy. Yuri did usually manage to make him feel better, even if she didn't know what was going on.
"Back into the battlefield he goes. Swear he's too easy to tease. Kindda like how you were." Yuri laughed a little before walking over to Alex's side and sitting beside him, looking at him closely. "So what's wrong?"
"Nothing. I-!" His sentence was cut off quickly as the girl suddenly hugged him tightly. He nearly lost his balance, putting his hands behind him on the bed to support himself as he tried to figure out what just happened.
"You say nothing, yet you're shaking," Yuri said quietly, burying her face in his chest a second before looking up at Alex. "If I can help, then let me help."
Alex couldn't help but smile, wrapping his arms around the girl once he'd gotten his balance and giving her a soft kiss on her forehead; somehow, she just seemed to know exactly how to make him feel better. How, he hadn't a clue. Maybe that was one of the things he liked about her.
