At first I didn't know what to expect from it. To me the title sounded like: ill used logic, and was expecting L to do something silly. Then you threw that pokeball and caught me off gaurd.
It's funny and you could make so many jokes from it that it could become a series of one shots if you wanted to go back on the idea.

if i could ever be a pokémon trainer in real life, and there were deathnote characters as pokémon, then in pokémon emerald, i'd catch an L and raise it to level 100, and then beat the elite four, and then i can perform the cloning glitch, and then i'd clone L until all of my boxes are full.
"who needs this rayquaza, kyogre, groudon, mewto, mew, latios, and latias, when i can have a bunch of level 100 Ls?! *deletes other pokémon except for latios and latias because they all have 'L' in their names.*"
