i don't know if this has already been mentioned in here...i didn't see it, but if it was, sorry for repeating it. sweatdrop anyway, i heard this on deathfan.com first, on the messageboards, but it was just people talking and speculating about it so i figured it was only a rumor. however, the other day while at the grocery store and bored, i picked up an anime magazine and flipped through until i saw an article with death note in the heading. i read on to find out it is true!!!! whee they are making a prequel type movie in dedication to L. it's going to be about his past and previous cases he worked on. the article said they are going to start shooting the movie within the next few months and that it should be out in japanese theatres in mid 2008. mrgreen *does happy dance*

Mello and Near did not appear in the 1st and 2nd live-action movies
but they'll appear in that prequal movie they're gonna shoot! >w<'''
