I'm counting down the hours and trying to figure out how I'm going to get to the bookstore Friday night. I am probably going to have to wait till Saturday and then I told my boyfriend that he has to go get it for me and probably cover the chapters because I do not want any spoilers, though I don't think JK Rowling will make that mistake again. Yes, from Saturday midnight on yolu probably won't be seeing me online till I finish it, and unfortunetly with my eyes getting bad, that may take awhile.

I am very excited about the upcoming book. kinda bumbed that it'll be the last one of the series. but yes, I am excited and can't wait to get my copy of it this friday.

I'm a huge Potter fan. Have my book pre-ordered and am going to the Midnight Potter Party at my local Barnes and Noble on Friday. Also just saw the movie on opening day. I'm also upset that it's the last one =(

OMG I'm soo excited you have no idea!!!...I want the book so bad but I doubt I will be able to get it as soon as it finally comes out crying ....oh well I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer than most people and try really hard not to read any spoilers >_<

However, I'm still at a loss as to which places on the internet I should completely avoid until I get to read the book! I was spoiled for Half-Blood Prince (I still say that page looked fake) and it's NOT HAPPENING for this book. I don't understand people that get their kicks off ruining people's experiences, be it in a chat room or posting on message boards, revealing details you'd rather find out on your own. Does anyone (who's avoiding spoilers) have a list of sites that should be save viewing? My last great hope was Mugglenet's forums, but since the book has been printed and shipped to bookstores, they thought it best to just close down until everyone has a chance to read the book without fear of getting spoiled. But that doesn't help the rest of the internet! Help!

Haha...I say avoid the internet altogether until you finish reading!! whee ...nowhere is sacred anymore..
well the ones I'm avoiding is youtube, the leaky cauldron, mugglenet, livejournal, any news site, any other HP site, google images, myspace, msn groups...pretty much anything else that even mentions Harry Potter in the title sweatdrop

(So you can come to our guild, I suppose.) For the last book... the BIG SPOILER (which I won't mention in case there's some soul that hasn't heard it yet...) I was reading an unrelated photography forum (the day after the book came out), and somebody posted THE BIG SPOILER in the comments in BIG RED LETTERS. There was no way to avoid it. I WAS SO DEPRESSED. Seriously, it ruined the book so much I almost cried. It was terrible. I am not going anywhere NEAR my Live Journal except MY PAGE and I'm probably going to block comments until I'm done with the book. I do not want this spoiled. Period. The trolls will be anywhere and everywhere, trying to spoil it for everyone they possibly can. Be alert. Be wary. If you have a doubt... don't go there.

My cousin spoiled HBP for me. I had to wait til after work to read mine (well I started during lunch as had most of my co-workers). I went and checked my myspace and saw a bulletin from my cousin that said new pictures. So I clicked and instead it said, fooled you and said I hate that (BIG BLANK SPOILER HERE). I was furious and wanted to strangle her.
