This explains why I have all the good stuff.
The very first day I got d2:LoD, I asked for a rush from my friends, but they were busy, so I made a game called "Rush me please" or something like it. So this one guy and his friend came in and rushed me all the way through Hell and even helped me lvl in the Cow lvl till lvl 50 or so.
Then he did something even nicer, gave me:
Ist occy rod
4 Ist Monarch
Ist Shako
Ist Skullders
Perf Chance Guards
Perf War Travs
2 occy rings (rings that had effects like the occulus rod, hacked)
and I forgot what belt
+many many +7% mfsc.
That totaled to about 600% or so MF, leading to lots of items eek
Anyone had anyone like that? (I believe his sn is Time_Killa whee )

yeah, for me, its always been the complete opposite. On D2, I have never been given anything from anyone for free. I am always helping others for free, yet I have never gotten anything.

Sounds like me too... I give tons of people free stuff, hoping to get something in return but end up getting nothing. Oh well.

There were occasional times in the past where I really could of used some help, but now I would prolly just feel guilty taking anything from anyone (unless they are quiting)

Frankly ive not to often run into anyone nice on diablo lol. However i still try to be nice myself, which has lead to me usually playing alone and not many friends on bnet lol =P
I just cant stand it with all the "noob" shouting going off. People dont realize how dumb they sound till they get older i guess. Lol i was the same way when i was 15 or so =P
2 years ago when my friend used to play, he gave me all my items, but that account is gone now =P thanks to my other friend signing on and doing the /dnd password due to his nubness. however i did just recently take his ik armor (with his permisison of course lol) so that kinda makes up for it..not really...id rather have my arrets face guard and stormshield and grandfather =(. i think i wore two ravens spirals to..but i cant say for sure heh.
