I prefer books to most movies.I really like a lot of movies, one of my favourites is the Lord of the rings. It's a shame to admit that I like popular movies: Forrest Gump, Narnia, Matrix, Star Wars...you know the type. I like them because they're good.

Mine has to be O Brother Where Art Thou?.
@Krusadin: Why is it shameful? Most of those were good movies and good books.
@happyamQT: There are a lot of movies so it is kinda hard rolleyes

Nope, it isn't shameful in my opinion... It was just something another person said. He said that I have a commercial taste in movies.

He probably meant something like that you like movies that are hyped up and have been made to bring in money quickly by basing it on books or life. Meh most movies are like that and they turn out to be great, when they have good directors and actors so that guy/gal must not have thought it through well enough. Course that's my opinion which amounts to very little if nothing blaugh
Oh I don't care if you list more than one movie. In fact I should change that to movies rolleyes

Its truly a shame what happened to Harry Potter...In my opinion the movies pretty much ruined the plot.

The best HP movies were Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix. Those two did pretty good at keeping things in chaos which made a better suspense.

Suspense shouldn't be created with chaos...Fine plot that looks kind of chaotic but in the end makes perfect sense is much more enjoyable. The books managed to do this, the movie failed.
