Ok I really want to dress in pants such asthese. But My mom says I can't have them, I find this kinda messed up she lets me dress in slayer shirts and I dyed my hair pink. Is there a away I can convince her. I am sorry this isn't a huge life issue. My dad just takes whatever side she is on.

Well, you're not really doing yourself a favor if you're trying to get a gothic style using Tripp pants and Slayer shirts. More a metalhead look than anything else.
But if you seriously are interested, I'm not sure what you can do to convince her. One possible issue may be that they're a bit expensive, and another is that frequent use may ruin them.

Actually if those pants are from Hot Topic, I think they are anywhere from 45-55 $. Seriously, they're that expensive. Honestly I don't care for pants like that. For one, the chains can get caught on something and I can fall or trip, and then the price for one pair of those can buy me other clothing that is cheaper and still Gothic looking. I bought me a new fishnet top not that long ago, less then 20$, black pants can be edited if you buy the thread and sow the metal pieces on there and still make it look professional.

As others have pointed out, I will summarize and compound-
Tripp Pants (those which you are talking about):
- Fairly expensive. $55 MSRP, but I've seen them sold for as high as $95. - Low Endurance. Despite their tough look, most Tripp pants are actually poorly made. Ripping completely at the seems isn't uncommon, and loosing chains and other accessories (after getting caught on something and torn off) is virtually unavoidable. The fabric fades pretty quickly too. Note that all of this information is coming from the son of a Home Ec. teacher / professional seamstress. - Not designed for goths. The pants shown are primarily meant to appeal to metal fans (particularly those into thrash)... and the mallcore. Some people now go so far as to directly associate Tripp pants with mallgoths (i.e. "posers"). - Impractical for most wear. The pants are very heavy, fairly loud, and get caught on all sorts of things. If you get used to them (so I'm told by a black-metal-scene friend who wears such pants daily), it's not too bad though. However, fair warning (from the same friend, who also happens to be a fairly petite girl)- if you wear styles with heavier chains, ALWAYS wear a TIGHT belt (she's experienced and has seen multiple girls have their pants drop to their ankles suddenly because of the weight).

easy enough to make your own. I'm a general guy for the most part but I know just enough about modding, sewing, etc. to fix up a pair. Heck had to repair some friends clothes (more like it tore in front of me and I offered to fix it) then also they wanted me to update them. Gah I'm just saying if I can do it it is easy enough to fix up your own pair on your own time and money and your mom cant say anything about it if you do.

im not going to tell you if they are "goth" or not.
you could buy a pair and hide them and wear them when your parents arnt looking. then if you really think they are that fun to wear buy another pair and continue to wear them until your parents freak out and then continue to wear them anyway if you think that clothing is really worth the argument.

Goth or not, part of the fun about being goth is freaking your parents out so I think you should get the pants just to mess with your parents head.

As for the issue, maybe try a nice skirt or something? Even if it's just the basic black skirt + fishnets + boots combo. It looks a lot better than Tripp pants.

Unfortunately, my mum is a no-no when it comes to supporting the Goth that is me; so I'm not allowed to wear white foundation until I'm WAY older (and only on occasions) not to mention I'm only allowed to wear heavy outfits or black lipstick to big parties with my outcasts (which btw are my old school friends who, along with me, were social outcasts). So I have to keep my culture on the down-low. And how unfair is it that I'm not allowed to listen to Cradle of Filth anymore?! My parents stink stare .

I went ou7t to the Green with my friends on my nana's birthday party and came back to the party wearing a brand new Black lipstick from Katmando! My relatives nearly died and my mum forced me to take it off.

Hosoi-Chan_Angel Unfortunately, my mum is a no-no when it comes to supporting the Goth that is me; so I'm not allowed to wear white foundation until I'm WAY older (and only on occasions) White foundation is the "no-no" here. White foundation looks tacky. Very cheap, very theatrical. While I can understand your frustration, I suggest you look to pale or off-white foundation. Something that is very fair in tone, but doesn't look unnatural or cheesy. Hosoi-Chan_Angel not to mention I'm only allowed to wear heavy outfits or black lipstick to big parties with my outcasts (which btw are my old school friends who, along with me, were social outcasts). Too bad about the outfits, but again, the "no-no" in this case is black lipstick. Black lipstick draws attention to flaws in your teeth, and generally looks unclean. Not cool Giger unclean, but "I wonder if she has herpes of the mouth" unclean. Go for very dark tones, not stark black. Hosoi-Chan_Angel So I have to keep my culture on the down-low. And how unfair is it that I'm not allowed to listen to Cradle of Filth anymore?! My parents stink stare . Many parents try to supress subcultural interests, due to the fair amount of critcisms the cultures draw. Though, I hardly see what keep goth on the DL has to with not being allowed to listen to a metal band.
