Shin sat on the couch watching T.V. another news story had come up about the mysterious deaths caused by an unknown illness, the people think it was a gas leak that had gone through the neighbor hood and seeped into the home but no one knows for sure, shin flips away from it.

Happily eating cereal as he watches cartoons, cody right beside him munching on a doggy bone, while roan is in the kitchen fixing up what he deems 'a real breakfast' which is more than cartoons and cold cereal.

For the last year Roan has been seeing Deneal on and off, shin has been keeping in touch with yuki via mail and internet mostly. A short while after the whole nightfall incident was over yuki got a scholarship of sorts, a chance to travel through Borneo and observe exotic animals, the trip was too good to pass up and shin was glad for the girl, yuki loved animals and it was sorta her dream chance of a life time.

Shins been waiting for her to get back, just spending time with his friends and such, waiting for her letters or e-mails to reach him. He loves the girl so he figures he can wait until she returns from her trip, he feels yuki deserves to be happy.

Shin practicaly fell off of the couch when cody barked hearing the mail girl as the pile of letters fell to the floor. He got up dashing to the door and scooping up the mail, a big smile on his face as he got to the letter reading through it more than once, just for the fact that as he read he could imagine yukis voice instead of just words on papers.

He had to laugh a little bit, the girl gifted with animal speech was baffeling all the big scientists, shin was more than happy for yuki, though he wished she could come home sooner he could suffer through a few more weeks without his kitty cat. He sat there for a moment trying to imagine yuki with long hair and a grass skirt, the thought made him blush a little bit as he carefuly put the letter back in its envelope.

He wondered what lex would think of his name ending up on t.v kinda wondered what every one was up to acctualy as he brought the letters over to a box, full of other ones hed gotten from the girl over the year shed been gone looking through some of them happily.

"Guess what cody, only five more weeks and I get to see her again" shin said happily looking at his doggy friend.
Cody gave a lazy yawn smiling back at shin "Im glad then, dont worry itl go by fast promise" the dog said as he went towards the kitchen smelling Roans cooking.
Shin watched the dog walk off kissing the letter right over where yuki had kissed it with her lip gloss, "Love you too kitty cat...gonna see you soon" he said quietly to himself putting the letter away carefuly into the box.

Roan heard the knock at the door as he munched down a piece of bacon, setting a plate full of the little strips down for cody, the dog happily chowing down on them.

Roan went to the door, opening it smiling as he saw who it was "Ne, sin-chan and den-kun?" he said happily before stepping out and hugging them both laughing a little "Ne! Where have you two been, its been awhile since weve seen you?" he said letting them go as he stepped aside from the door motioning for them to go on in.


Shin heard the knock on the door, glancing away from yukis letters for a second turning back to them when he saw roan go to get it.

"Shins here!" the boy said hearing the familiar voices, shin got up from off the floor leaving his box as he went to meet his friends "Hey denkou, how are you guys" shin said noting that sin was there too, it was wierd seeing her all...quiet, the girl acctualy looked a little nervous her gaze dropped to the floor "Hey sinny whats up with you? I dont bite ya know, okay maby a little but only strangers...codys a crappy guard dog" shin said smirking a little bit at the girl, he still had the scar along his shoulder from the wound shed given him, although it never bothered him.


Roan stepped in behind the two closing the door smiling, it was good to see his friends again "Ne, quiet and boring...sounds kinda nice, were glad you two stopped by" he said happily.

Shin smiled at her glad that she seemed to be back to normal "Wrong with me, hah nothings wrong...I just space out when im reading kitty cats letters is all, shes coming back in five weeks" he said as he ruffled denkous hair looking to sin "So how are you two luv birds and what are you doing here? My place is so boring now" he said looking at Roan and cody accusingly. "We can do whatever you want though, im up for anything right now" he said happily

Roan and cody both looked at shin smirking "Ne, shin-kun is love sick for his kitty cat, he has no right to make fun of you two" roan said poking shin in the side. "And we can do whatever you two want, we dont want to bore you to death" he said smiling.

"Ouch ive been burned, beaten again with your clever words yikes" shin said noting her sarcasm "Heh, you miss it too dont you sinny?" he said, yeah he rememberd thier battles well, and he allways wished he could have realy beaten her.

Roan just smiled at denkou "Yes its true, and lucky for me and deneal-kun, my kind doesnt bring about babies" he said laughing, he hadnt seen deneal for awhile but he knew the demon hunter was about somewhere, they had been on and off with each other lately. "Ne, denkou-kun, I win!" he said happily to the boy.

Shin smiled at the girl, thinking about it for a second, he noticed denkous narrowed eyes but ignored it "Yes we could, I wouldnt mind...heh, chances are were both out of practice sinny" he said happily.


Roan smiled hearing denkou "Ne, shin-kun wants children when hes older, I might, but im not sure...something to think about though" he said laughing a little bit.
