You know I was thinking the other day...after watching the last episode...
The producers already stated that they wouldn't have a crappy ending to the series..which if they were in pergutory would be a crappy ending..to my thought it would at least..very cliche.
however..I had a working theory..one that isn't ocmpelete but yea..I thought that I would share with you guys what I think.
My husband had gone to alot of other Lost M.Bs and alot of people are taking a religous approach..with the hell and purgatory thoughts..some people have off the wall ideas...and I know its probally going to be something that NO ONE will think of.
Anyways..
I was thinking..the fact that NO ONE can find the island...and all the other mysterious things happening on the island..
What would happen if it was actully the Garden of Eden that they had landed on? The enchanted garden is suppose to be hidden away from the rest of the world, it has two gaurdians after God kicked out Adam and Eve..the two gaurdian angels could be the black smoke and Jacob.
The fact that people get mysteriously healed on the island....
Another fact is that no human can be born on the island; which in the bible God stated no one would be born in the garden..well not directly..but you get the point, right?
My husband was like, what about Claire? Claire didn't get pregant on the island..therefore wasn't effected by that rule.
The only thing it doesnt explain is the three-toed statue....as far as I know.

That is a really interesting idea. I hadn't thought of that.
There have certainly been a lot of religious references both obvious and subtle.
It could also explain why Dharma was so interested in the island.
