Example: Thou shalt not breath on the end of a measure.

Thou shalt lift thy knees
Thou shalt not steal a fellow band members spot in the instrument closet
Thou shalt not talk (too loudly) during concert season
Thou shalt not wiggle at attention

we actually have them written on a piece of tinkerbell notebook paper in our band room! ((many are old inside joke things, but they all have to do with marching band))
1-Thou shalt not fart during stretches!
2-Thou shalt not question your director!
3-Thou shalt not make fun of lesser bands until they are out of earshot!
4-Thou shalt not fidget or laugh at attention.
5-Thou shalt do what the section leader does, not matter how wrong or perverted.
6-Thou shalt always carry your setbook and your tape for emergencies.
7-Thou shalt use good technique unless you're not on the field!
8-Thou shalt not stop for field judges or little children in parades!
9-Thou shalt be at every sectional, especially breakfast ones!
10-Thou shalt not harm another band-o unless they have harmed you!
((and nobody can complain! you chose it you lift it! though, the baritones in our band have a right to during week one, though they don't...and the mellos too...but the trumpets, and pics and flutes do...even clarinets...))

Flutes, trumpets, and trombones shalt hold their instrument/bells parallel to the ground while playing.
Thou shalt NOT MOVE at attention
Thou shalt not skip gaily when performing the shuffel step
The director is not your mama
Thou shalt listen to your drum majors
Thou shalt not talk without permission
Thou shalt refer to a drill sargeant as sargeant rather than sir.
Thou shalt learn one's left from right, or face death
