EARTHQUAKE HAS DAMAGED RENNIE'S HOUSE, MAY AFFECT ATTENDANCE ON THE GUILD.

Hiya all

In England at 8.18am GMT there was an earthquake in Folkestone and Dover, the south east of the country. Unfortunatly I come from one of those towns and my house is slightly damaged from the earthquake. Cracks in almost every room and the climney could collapse.

If I need to be evacuated from my house I will not be able to accept new members in to the guild and other jobs that I need to do so I would appreciate it if one member could come forward and do some of my duties. You will be promoted so you can accept new members.

UPDATE:

Nevira Shadowfire messaged me yesterday and is willing to help. She is now promoted to Crew. If I am unavailable (like I not allowed access to my house and an internet) then she is willing to help.

At the moment the house seems to be fine though my mother is getting frustrated as to why people on our road are getting help for their buildings and chimneys and not us. On the bright side if they are delaying us then the damage might not be that bad.

Ok our house has been checked by somebody. My brother and I are safe to sleep upstairs which means that the chimney isn't as unstabel as we thought but there is a concern about this buldge that is coming out of the front of the house, which doesn't sound good, so in my opinion evacuation seems possible.

Just having a quick peep, everything seems to be ok here. Just letting you know that our house seems to be looking worse. Although the chimney is now down more cracks are appearing around the house. Watch this space ...

8th May 2007:
House seems to be ok although every room (apart from one) needs to be redecorated in some way, luckily my egyptian room shouldn't need that much (and thank God that I didn't do my hieroglyphs then).

It is unlikely that I will need to leave my home. Thank you all for you cooperation whee
