In Redwall, I noticed some pretty sad things in almost every book. What, in your opinion, is the saddest? I think its when Shoog dies in Triss.

Well I literally cried when Methuselah died in Redwall, so I'd have to go with that. =)

The saddest of all is when the otter in The Bellmaker dies. ( I can't remember his name because I've read so many. 17/18.

It was also sad in The Bellmaker (I think it was) when the main characters meet the orphaned Dibbuns on the island, and they're like "my daddy is just sleeping". But....he's deaddddddddddddddddddd. And they talked so cuteeeeeee, too.

Yea when Rose died that actually made me cry both in the novel and the tv series.

Saddest thing? Poor Martin's history.
1. His mum gets killed early on
2. His dad runs off and leaves him to avenge his wife
3. He watches his grandmother die from maltreatment
4. His girlfriend gets killed, and he half blames himself for getting her into the mess and being hyperfocused on revenge
5. Oh yeah, he gets left to rot in a prision.
Poor guy. Then he goes and dies young. I mean, he gets awesome friends in Mossflower, but, I always found it nice that he could still be a reletively nice character (not, "OMGUH ALL VERMINS DIE!" *coughGrathcough*)

Rose's death was the saddest to me. But being the wierdo that I am, Pakatugg's death is the only other death in all the Redwall books that actually made me cry. sad

He got killed by Graypatch's crew in Mariel of Redwall.

Rose! Rose! Rose! Why did you die! crying Another sad thing is when Rockjaw die. Poor Russana ( Badger ) doesn't even know who gave him the name probaly.
